I'm 24, I've always had long hair and I've always had quite a high hair line. Looking at pictures from when I was 17/18 my hair has been pretty much the same although it's started to thin. I could never shave my hair off it just would not suit me at all but the long'ish swept fringe is looking bad being all thin as its not covering up my hair line any more.

I think about it every day, I hate how I look, if I pass a mirror I will look away and it's all because of my hair. I look so much better when I have a hat on and I feel more confident, when I take a picture I purposely never get above my eyebrows in and I always get asked why.

I don't think my hair is receding really although slightly thinking at the front. The rest of my hair is fine and thick including my crown. Grandparents have decent heads of hair still.

All I can think about is having the FUE type transplant although I don't know how to bring it up in conversation with relatives/work colleagues. I don't want them to know really and if they didn't notice the swelling for a few weeks there is a chance it wouldn't be noticed too much as the hairline would grow in naturally. Once it's there I have no issue with them knowing.

I generally feel that it puts my confidence down, I struggle to talk to females because of it, my pictures on social media are not a true reflection of what I look like as I chose not to have my hair on pictures.

I am making it sound worse than it actually is, after a wash and styled it look fine as it covers my hair line but as the day passes and it becomes more 'greasy' should I say it becomes more noticeable and just gets me down.

I'm not depressed if the post sounds it, I've never talked about it or posted it anywhere before. I have good friends etc but I just think I'd be a totally different person if I was to have this done.

Call the Belgravia Centre in London and discuss their pharmaceutical treatments first.
