It's a bit better now, but not great. Seems to work fine with my home Wi-Fi now, which was always fast enough but used to have problems (and keep giving me warning tones). As such, I do use it at home because my house can give me 4G one minute and no signal the next.

I don't use it for SMS though as it is crazy to split messages from your standard inbox.

Otherwise its a case of those who want it wont get it for months (if at all) unless they are on a newish Nexus device. The Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (2012) and Nexus 10 wont be getting Marshmallow.

If you want up to date software support for an extended period of time then iOS is the only way to go. Google had their chance and blew it big style.

That is a little disappointing. You would have thought nexus devices would have got the latest OS from google. I have a nexus 10, so a little bit miffed it wont get A6.

Of course since my tablet works fine as it is, it is no big loss. I am sure if I wanted to I could root it and get hold of A6 and put it on. One of the main reasons why I didnt root my tablet was so I could get the latest google OS. Since my tablet is working fine, I am not sure I will be bothering with rooting my tablet and putting A6 on it.

The N10 is three years old now so it has had a good run. Things can't be supported ad infinitum.

Glad to read by default, (not using third party apps) we will get back control of app permissions.

.......
Permissions your way

No need to give apps access all the time. Android Marshmallow lets you define what you want to share and when. Turn permissions off at any time, too.
