Understatement of the year.
Wouldnt Lauren still reveal the truth in order for her dad to give himself up or is she prepared to let him stay on the run?

That was ludicrous nonsense that does not happen regularly. The level of security at the verdict of a murder trial is always high for various reasons.”

Haha the whole lets dry and offend someone routine.

If I feel EastEnders deserves to be slated I will do it myself. I have done plenty in the past and only a couple of weeks ago in fact. Based on my personal opinion.

If Pat and Cindy did return then fair enough but it's not going to happen. DTC knows it's impossible to bring Pat back he stated himself.

Half the Square know at this stage... any one of them could and would tell the truth!

Given Max has been found guilty but isn't should be the perfect illustration as to how a death penalty is a problem lol

A little far-fetched perhaps but security lapses do happen. Didn't Tony Gordon escape from a prison van in Corrie?

Corrie hardly strives for realism in all of its storylines and Emmerdale has taken a few liberties recently.

It looks like Lauren wants to go to the police tomorrow but Phil threatens her to keep quiet.

There's a preview clip on the website of him telling her that she would also be in trouble and Louie would be taken off her.

EastEnders is a soap FFS and gets panned for showing such scenes when they do happen in real life. Does some people on here live a very sheltered life or what.”

Why attack other forum members for having a different opinion?
I thought it was a great moment but too far-fetched for me but not as ridiculous as Lauren not revealing the truth.

LOL... I meant defensive... typo! You're never offensive but often defensive!

The fact that he even broached the subject of the impossibility of bringing Pat back is worrying

Why start a thread if you don't like the responses auntie?

Respecting different opinions is part and parcel of this place. I respect your even if I don't agree. However I don't believe in making little digs

That's more of it! Tell Phil to F**k off and go and tell the truth! Nothing will happen her lets face it after making that statement!

This plot has way too many holes... watch Max glide over after that shark-jump

I am not defensive. If I feel I need to defend I will but then if I think I need to slate the show then again. I will and have plenty of times.

I am not attacking anyone. Just stating a fact aswell as my opinion.

That is allowed. It happens in the North of England I am told.

Yes, the lack of basic literal thinking here is worying!

Perhaps it's because the house is one of the "new build" ones so the manhole was already there when the garage was built

Nope, Im seeing way, way, way more people taking the piss actually which considering that was drama and not comedy is not a good thing!

I don't think you've attacked anyone either! You do always go on the defensive... I mean if EastEnders suddenly started bringing back long dead characters you'd be defending it left right and centre... oh wait they are doing just that!

I hope Max and Kathy don't collide as they jump the shark!

Don't ever contradict me My house has two manholes and there both outside. I Don't know about where they they but manholes in Uk but over In a small town in the west of Ireland They put their manholes outside not inside

It can happen (it did with Terry in Coronation Street) but I've never heard of something like that at a high profile murder trial!

Don't think Max is entirely like Den (who would never emotionally break down like Max is capable of doing) but the last scene was kind of like Den escaping from the gangsters in his penultimate 1989 episode.

That Maurice Jones has a lot to answer for.

Why is this a Coronation Street conversation? Lets keep on topic!

I will interject there and contradict you... most terraces will have internal manholes... I bet you've got an internal manhole!

People do escape custody, just that they don't usually leap out of the stand, out of the courtroom, past the police and security, down the steps to freedom... thats kind of ridiculous!

Jim McDonald and Phil Mitchell also escaped from prison and Silas the serial killer in Hollyoaks.

I can't believe that you don't, it's called drama, it's doing what it says on the label, no tv programme is 100% real life, if it was then the show wouldn't be as good as it is.
