EastEnders is a soap FFS and gets panned for showing such scenes when they do happen in real life. Does some people on here live a very sheltered life or what.”

Seriously? Because people are imo very rightfully taking the pee out of an utterly ridiculous scene they live sheltered lives? Because what, it's something that has actually happened maybe a small handful of times in modern documented history? Oh come on now.

Why couldn't Lauren shout "it was Bobby, it was Bobby!"? Would at least let Max know she believed in his innocence and would be a heads-up to everyone else that this isn't over.

I suppose now she will meet with some accident and join the coma club, or lose the power of speech and writing so that she can't tell anyone.

Lool it was such a funny ridiculous scene but seriously it's annoying that Max was found guilty, I imagine he will he get caught and his actions just made things much more worse for him

It's so stupid that she said nothing, she came back to Walford to save her dad, but instead she was all talk and no action.

That was farce not drama

Here, Here!! My point exactly... lot's of mad things may have happened, doesn't make them believable in the realm of EastEnders

Are you sure you just haven't found your internal manhole? Could be under your junk?

They will probably cite one example of it happening before. The rationale behind the Kathy storyline being the "canoe man" and if that was possible will state this is as well.

Using "Canoe Man" to justify Kathy's return is stupid and lazy. The original Kathy would never do what that man did. It's all to easy right now.

Max will go undercover now like Philip Marlowe - trying to find the killer while hunted down mercilessly by the police. But Bobby is alarmed by this and orders in an AK47 off ebay. The gloves are finally off.

Total joke that scene. As if he would have gotten outside. There are normally security on the doors. Plus for a murder trial security would be especially tight!

Many have been buried in Gail's manhole it's like a graveyard and that's realism.

People use the "jump the shark" expression so many times its lost all meaning.

I enjoŷed that ending, sure it was a huge suspension of reality but it was a different outcome to what we were expecting, Max punching Cameron was a nice treat too. I don't mind soaps using artistic licence occasionally, especially when it moves a story on.

That fire exit was very handy!

With the canoe man there was no body.

In Kathy and Gavin's case the insurance company would have needed death certificates, coroners and police reports...in other words, hard evidence.

How does Max escaping "move the story along" all we'll have now is months of him on the run and probably hundreds more people finding out it was bobby and being persuaded to keep the secret. ughhh.

Oh in this case it's exactly right... the sort of moment where a programme airs a scene that is ludicrous and damaging!
