I've never got the Dannii love either. I think most of the public would agree that she was wooden, forgettable and extremely disposable. She clearly has a cult following but not a wide appeal.
Cheryl, unfortunately, seems to appeal more to the mass market. Inexplicably so.

I've never understood the love for her on here. Especially when people slate Cheryl for having no talent as though Dannii was some Grammy award, Ivor Novello winning artist.
My favourite was the original Simon/Sharon/Louis line up. Some genuinely laugh out loud moments that they try to recreate but never, ever succeed.

Voting on this depends how you look at it.
In terms of actually being entertaining as a judge, Simon Cowell in his peak years (not the sad parody he has become since his return) was easily the best - he made the show, simple. He was always 100% honest, even if his delivery was rude.
In terms of being a good mentor / constructive judge, Danni Minogue wins hands down. But I never found her particularly entertaining.
Whoever is voting for Louis Walsh wants shooting.

While I do like all of them (apart from that idiot, Grimshaw), I agree with you.
The original line-up is still my favorite too.
Between Gary and Kelly. ...I went with Kelly in the end! ! Shame that she wasn't received well over here. ..but didreally well in the USA! !!!

this was hard because i loved tulisa, kelly and dannii equally. i know i'm in the minority about tulisa but i think the fact that she mentored the first group to victory says something. not only a group but a girl group that had been put together for the show. kelly made me laugh and she wasn't super over the top like nicole.
For me Cheryl as for me more often than not she picks acts I like in her categories and for the most part does the right thing with them. Not s omuch this year but in previous years she has but then aside from 4th impact I'm not suer the others were going to be able to do much anyway.
So, if this vote were to determine a 4 strong panel it would be Dannii, Nicole, Kelly & Cheryl.. How interesting
My favourite line-up was Simon/Cheryl/Dannii/Louis so I'd have to vote for one of them. The show probably needs Simon the most so I'll vote for...Louis.
