Highest: Helen "Two first names" George
Lowest: Jeremy "Mantis" Vine
Dance off: Iwan v Daniel Zzz'Donnell
Exterminated: Daniel Zzz'Donnell

I blame Ola for Iwan's bore-fest. All her routines are suspiciously similar. Come the dance off, I may slip off for stimulants.

Highest- Jay & Aliona
Lowest- Carol & Pasha
Bottom 2- Iwan & Ola and Jeremy & Karen
Out- Jeremy and Karen. Saving Iwan as I think he's got much more to give and he could possibly be another Jake

In the interests of balance and fairness, should some sort of a rule be put in place so that we predict only AFTER the dances and/or songs have been revealed?

I do! Ola has always been one of my favourites and I think the criticism of Iwan's lack of training to date has been a bit over the top.

Wishful thinking pertaining to Jamelia - so much irrational hate aimed at this woman you'd think she'd committed a heinous crime. Mind-boggling. Tristan fans are in raptures b/c he finally has a partner under 40 with potential. They'll be voting profusely. However, I think she might struggle with this song unless she's able to deliver a sexy, self-assured performance. No giggles and buckets of chemistry with Tristan.

She is one of my favorites pros and I would hate for her to leave like this early ...especially given the brouhahaha that her coming back brought ( a lot of people here would be happy ) but it seems like her and Iwan didn't even register with the viewers; their dances seemed lackluster and they didn't seem to have much chemistry . I hate to pick them as bottom 2 and out but I wouldnt be surprised if that happens to be the case.

I am still hoping that they produce a great dance next weekend. I dont know why but I really think that we might have a shocking bottom 2 this weekend; 2 of the couples at the middle of the leaderboard.

THIS all day long.

In a way, I would love it if she won if only to see this forum explode!

My feeling is that Iwan, while saddled with a tacky song (apologies to people who love it) will attack the cha cha and put on a gutsy performance, definite potential to be an improvement on the tango, and I think there are quite a few people who could score lower than him. We've no way of knowing yet whether people have taken to him, this board can be spot on and it can sometimes be misleading. But either way, if he's in the b2 with Carol, Jeremy or Kirsty surely they'd have to save him?

Depends on whether or he's got more time to train... but even if he does I suspect the stuff about not being able to train from week 1 and beforehand will stick in peoples' minds. I really don't think that sort of thing goes down well with the public at all.

Yes, you may well be right - and things like Iwan and Ola looking so unhappy at that bit where they're all meant to smile at the camera while Tess introduces them, and his general slight sense of desperation that won't help him. What was I was trying to say was that regardless of his public vote, I think he's got a fair chance of ending up in the b2 with someone who is worse than him.

Jeremy, Carol or Kirsty may well be worse than him but I think their fanbases may save them. The only one who perhaps does not have this advantage is Jeremy - but he has cleverley (if not deliberately), positioned himself as the 'crowd pleaser' - much in the same way as Karen's previous partner Hairy Biker Dave did (maybe Karen has a knack for creating this). That will win Jeremy a few weeks more than he probably deserves.

Iwan & Ola have not had a lot of positives going for them from the moment they were paired - there was the claims that Ola was clearly & visibly not happy to get him as a partner (regardless of whether they were true or not), the wardrobe malfunction on Launch Night, the lack of training, dancing a poor tango to an inappropriate song in Week 1, the ridiculous song he has been given for Week 2...it almost seems written in the stars that they will be making their exit on Sunday.

Fair enough - who do you think he'll be in the b2 with then, if not Kirsty, Jeremy or Carol? I think Ainsley's got a fair to middling chance of scoring quite high with the judges with a Latin and so might be safe and I'd be amazed if Daniel is going anywhere. Otherwise I'd agree that the judges would save anyone else over Iwan, but I hate to think of any of the others (particularly Jay or Anthony) falling into the b2 already. Am I forgetting someone obvious?

Maybe there's been a part of my post lost in translation. I think Kirsty will be in the bottom 2 with Iwan....and I have stated as much earlier in this thread.

The point I was making is that whoever faces Iwan in the bottom two will be saved over him for the reasons stated.

Think she might be suffering due to some on the stupid things she's said in loose women (she once said they shouldn't sell clothes for fat people in shops to shame them into losing weight! That went down well!). Having said that, she's got a good song this week, so she should do well.

My predictions are
Top - Peter and Jeanette
Dance off - iwan and ola / Kirsty and Brendan (salsa as first Latin dance is tough)
Going home - iwan and ola

Indeed Alleycat. I think he has better dance ability of those currently perceived to be in the 'danger zone' and I think he may survive (unless with a shock higher ranked opponent) any dance off. Ve Vill see...
