This will be very big news indeed if the apparent detection of a mysterious hidden cavity and a void in the Great Pyramid turns out to be true.

New series about the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb starring the red hot Sam Neill as Lord Carnarvon on ITV at 9pm tonight.
Yes I will be recording it.

Sam is a criminally underrated actor - as the ill fated, relentless and satanic Inspector Campbell in Peaky Blinders he was simply superb for example.

Indeed he was. Also as Cardinal Wolsey in The Tudors. Fine actor.

Wow, most of these articles are so interesting! I'm especially surprised a garment like that has survived for so long - what a find.

I hadn't heard about Peterborough's Pompeii before. So much stuff going on and I didn't have a clue.
