Doesn't everyone get several internet votes? For free.
Are you sure that this is true, don't you have to agree to accept promotions in your inbox, I can't remember the last time I was offered a freebie, I normally have to pay.

Unless it has changed since last year, then nope, there is no requirement to accept promotions etc ........ and the votes are absolutely free ......

It sounds too good to be true to me, I always find my cupboard gets too full when I get carried away with buy one get one free offers in poundworld, I worry that free Strictly votes if for real could become addictive Amethyzt.

is this thread the Strictly forum equivalent of "Give me 100 quid to fill up my tank with petrol so I can get home, and I'll send you 200 quid tomorrow"?

Good grief is this going on in here too?

Why can't people just allow others to vote for whom they wish and stop trying to influence or dictate to others.

There's a perfectly adequate mechanism for voting - and a choice of ways of doing so - so why not just allow others to vote for whom they please without having their ear bent by people who can't seem to accept this way of doing things?
Perfectly put!

It's not intended to upset anyone. I just think many of us have had our fill of posters canvassing for their favourites; it's a bit overkill. But Lewis you are not the first, or the biggest culprit

Just register with Strictly and you get three votes with no hidden promotions at all.

Thank you Penny, but with something like this I always get worried I might get bitten by a secret hidden bug, a bit like being a VW owner and finding out that your software has been interfered with.

Last year I used the internet to vote (I live outside mainland UK) but on Saturday when I went to the BBC site to register to vote, I couldn't for some reason.
Will sort this out before the Blackpool weekend, when every vote counts.

Just saying that everything Internet isn't guaranteed to be trouble- free

Is the three votes on the assumption that there is an average of three people per household who would want to vote?

Two years back, when they introduced on line free voting, it was five per person
Last year it dropped to three

Technically, anyone can vote as many times as they want - so one household with several accounts could put in far more than 3 votes.

You can also register more than one email address and get three votes per registration so if you've got an old email address and two faves then job's a good un
