I am interested in the latter, however they have seemingly said sod all about UK pricing......
EDIT: Take that back its £339 https://store.google.com/category/phones That is actually more expensive than I thought it would be, being honest I'd be better off investing in OnePlus 2 |

Yea it's up on Google's store already if you want to pre-order. I'm in the market to replace my N5, but not sure about this one yet, will wait till reviews rather than blindly ordering I think.

I suspect there will be 3rd parties who will offer it cheaper, maybe the other side of Christmas will bring the price down. |

It's only slightly more than the N5 was a launch I think.
I won't be buying one any time soon though. Can't justify it as my N5 works perfectly fine (with a new battery). Only thing I'm really missing is VoLTE. |

DIY job on the N5 battery? That's my main issue with mine atm, battery just won't last a day!

Might be a dumb question, did N5 support 4G/LTE?

Not impressed. The x5 is basically nothing special and well the n6 is good but its expensive.

Yep. Mine just switched over one day when it came out in my area.
I really am torn between this and the OnePlus 2 now (though I have yet to receive and invite to the latter).

The other challenge is finding a genuine LG battery. I got one off of Amazon and based it on reviews. I paid £18 and the battery life is a lot better now. I replaced it because the phone was turning off at 20% (not shutting down, just off). |

Hmm, I might do that and skip this year for phones then. Not a fan of 5.7inch+ screens, and the N5x doesn't really offer a huge upgrade.
I had the 20% and shut off thing with my N7(2012), was driving me nuts, ended up rooting it and putting CM on, which totally fixed the battery issues somehow. |

Ordered one for my son as his 5 has had a smashed screen for weeks. He was after a bigger screen so its the 6p. Will report back when it arrives (I believe it's a pre-order of several weeks).
Don't think I'll be upgrading my current 6 for a while unless it's very shiny-shiny when it arrives. |

Amazingly the Nexus 5X doesn't have stereo speakers, despite having two grilles

I'm thinking of maybe getting the Nexus 5x 32gb version early next year to replace my bow over 2 year old Nexus 4 that I have loved having.
I like to wait till a phone has been out for a month or two before buying it. So I can read some of the reviews first. Darren |

I ordered a Nexus 6P 64GB Black.
I have a Nexus 6 at the moment, but I do love my new gadgets! |

Honestly it doesn't seem that much of an improvement on the Nexus 4. It's hardly a game changer and I think google could have given so much more, but have to have a cleat budget option, now they have a premium.

To be fair the 5 was a strong improvement over the 4..... As with many of these phones by most of the companies, an annual upgrade isn't going to see a massive difference.

Clewsy I'm not sure why it isn't much of an upgrade over the 4? Surely it has improved in every way other than wireless charging. At the end of the day a smartphone will be a smartphone, but hardware will always improve in combination with software to give an improved user interface. Maybe the Nexus 5X will be perceived as subpar because it doesn't have top of the range specs, but I'm convinced it doesn't need them the same way a Moto G doesn't. |

Putting the fingerprint sensor on the back is a silly idea.

It's exactly where your fingers go whenever you hold your phone. |
