Definitely. There was at least one occasion last series (the last week I think) where a spoiler source was only found at the last minute

I had actually thought of doing that, - and will go ahead if it seems like a good idea - as I am aware of 6 totally genuine people who have occasionally dropped in to the spoiler thread and provided a spoiler for us.
No guarantee that they will have a result or even visit the thread though!
And the worst thing is they usually get insulted etc. by some members of the thread as they were not the "identified mole". Monaogg refers to such an incident earlier in this thread. And another point referred to in that post of his/hers is that there is always a strong probability of a troll providing a false spoiler.
Can I put my guess for the time of the result as 19.55 on Sunday?

Yes definately to running a spoiler thread. We may get someone popping in and giving us the result - even when we have had a confirmed mole, it has happened that someone else has turned up and provided the correct result as well.

Last year it was a Pixie superfan caused problems IIRC. Other than that it was DM readers posting links.
The forum admins are pretty sharp on removing stray spoilers.

I have started another Mole Finding thread - I did this because last year I was approached by people who were happy to be moles, but only to someone who was a regular on the spoiler thread -I hope that's ok with everyone. xxx
