Aw unlucky. I think I'm gonna be watching it on a big screen with about 50 other people The atmosphere should be good.

Everyone on my Uni course is very excited about it!

Today, we were all talking about going to see the new Suffragettes film, and I said, 'I think I'm free most evenings this week... except Wednesday and Thursday, because that's Apprentice day!' And of course, the squeals of excitement came at once

I must admit I do find myself loathing one or two of the arrogant b**stards but I still have to watch!

In fairness, I think that quite a few of the people who come across as arrogant actually turn out to be pretty decent, Ricky Martin being a prime example.

Sounds like better than okay if you all watch The Apprentice together!

It's essential viewing. Tomorrow night can't come soon enough, one of the few shows I'm happy to spend the license fee on

Do you have a reputation amongst your friends for having masses of Apprentice knowledge? I do... my Uni friends sometimes say to me, 'George, who was fired in this week of this series?' and I always get it straight away. Such fun!

I'm known for being absolutely obsessed! But they don't know they the extent of my knowledge I wouldn't like to reveal that.

I think George is certainly the go-to guy here for statistics on the show.

How do you mean? I think I know as much as he does. I have (somewhat embarrasingly) every task, PM, firing and team re-shuffle committed to memory, amongst other things.

Yes, absolutely. Thanks to The Rhydler for his faith in me, but I'd say that you and I, Tom, are probably about on a par with each other.

Although, I'd say that Jack (TXF0429) is probably slightly ahead of both of us. Speaking of which, where is he? I really hope he's not going to be absent this series, it just won't be the same without him!

Have you not actually seen YA?

I've messaged Jack, not sure if he's seen it but it's the best we can do. I just like to mention it on the forums occasionally, so that if he sees it he knows that we miss him and we all really hope he'll be back soon. He did log back in this morning apparently, so fingers crossed!

Come to think of it, we had a chap who worked for the company I was with a few years ago who had got through to the final group before the chosen candidates for the TV series and he was a really nice bloke. He went on to better things:

http://www.creativebrief.com/blog/20...princes-trust/

I know that in this age of business and marketing the candidate needs to be self assured, full of self importance, really believe that they will win and 'know' that they are better than the next man or woman to succeed. Unfortunately, I don't enjoy these traits in people - they have the effect of making me feel inadequate, which I am not. I do however have plenty of common sense which many of the candidates seem to lack.

It wasn't meant as a slight on you. You're good too.

I thought I was good till I ran into you lot.

I have seen them all twice more or less, but I don't have anything committed to memory like I do for The Apprentice.

Oh did he? That's good. I'm hoping he'll take part in the ranking game.

How many times have you seen the other series?

Probably four or five times each. Yes, I know that is absolutely awful, especially seeing as I only started watching in 2012. I kind of wish I hadn't now, as I don't enjoy re-watches anymore, as I just feel I know the episodes inside out.

Now mine is a lot more varied. There are some series that I have only seen once, and some I've quite possibly seen about eight or nine times. And I haven't been watching that much longer than you. I first came across it in 2009, but I didn't become a religious viewer until 2011, and it was only mid-2012 that I'd caught up with all the series.

But, I haven't really been re-watching recently (apart from Series 10, which I re-watched in one week, because I met a German girl who was asking for some British TV recommendations, so I suggested The Apprentice and we watched it together). Given that it has been a while, I'm starting to think about it again. I think at some point, when I have a bit more time, I may go back through the old series and enjoy them a bit more. If you take a break from re-watching, the time will come when you will enjoy it again.
