Do you think the producers edited bootcamp AFTER the 6 chair challenge?

Spoiler
Think Charli Beard is being shown cause Simon is a huge fan of her and hoped Rita would've put her through so now she'll be the shock exit. She'll be the return of next year. There's always a act returning next year after a boot last serious.
Her sob story was sort of her granddad hearing him sing or something.

I they have to edit it and show more of who are in top 24 so the public remember them... theyre trying to sell an artist here after the competition and they need footage of the actual winner at every stage of the competition.

That's precisely what I'm saying. The judges are employees of the show, they do as they are told. Do you seriously think that Gary Barlow would have put through acts like Frankie Cocozza and Chris Maloney over decent, credible singers? I think there may be a bit of flexibility, sometimes the judges may get to choose one of their acts (how else would you explain Lorna Simpson and Sophie Habibis?) but the acts are earmarked early on - they aren't going to put all this effort into making sure we like Louisa Johnson and leave it to Rita Ora to bin her off on a whim at judges houses.

This is exactly the way it is. I just watch the show nowadays knowing that then chosen few have already been earmarked and that the public have no real say in who Syco will decide to market. Its just a showcase for the acts that Simon thinks have a shot at making it.
