Strictly tickets - transferable?
cedge

My lovely brother has managed to get us some strictly tickets in the ballot. They're obviously not in our names or with our address (it was a surprise - he just got lucky). Can we use them?

Thanks

Hi cedge !

While I can't answer your query I'm sure one of the forum members who has attended the show will be able to give you some definitive advice.

On the assumption that you go to the show could I ask if you would be prepared to provide a spoiler for the people on Digital Spy. If you are OK with this, could you pm me (send me a personal message via the forum) to arrange this! You'll have the appreciation of millions (well hundreds!) on here!

I will fully appreciate it if you don't want to do this - but either way I hope you get there and have a great time. Do post to let us know how the night went!

Cheers.

I'm fairly certain as long as you've got tickets, you can use them. They're only non-transferable between weeks (i.e. you can't swap your tickets for another date).

Have a great time either way though. Make sure you get there with plenty of time to make sure you get in

Hi Cedge

I was lucky to go to 2 live shows last series as both me & my friend were lucky enough to get tickets in the ballot! We were not asked at either show for proof of ID etc, the people who validated our tickets just scanned the bar code & then stuck a sticker on the tickets saying where we were in the queue so that when we back to the show everyone was seated in the order they were in the queue in

hope that makes sense and enjoy the day - it is fantastic!!

I *think* if you take a photocopy of his ID you'll be fine, do you share a surname?

You need to be able to verify the name, address and postcode when asked without looking at the tickets.

Thanks for all the replies. Were still not sure its worth the hassle as it seems the validation time has shifted from 12pm to 9am now and then your still not guarenteed a ticket as it depends on what colour sticker you get. Talk about a convulted process especially if you don't live locally.

the ticket SHOULD say the validation time - not that I am disbelieving the OP that said it was now 9am but I totally agree, ridiculous time to start validation, esp if you are not local!

It says 9 am - we hadn't seen that. We've got to come from Dorset on the morning (school working so no chance of Friday off) so no way are we going to get in.

So disappointing.
