Amazon prime music to amp
I have an Onkyo tx nr414 amp.
I also have a smashing prime account whats the best way to enjoy them both together, ideally not involving having a tv on all the time (I do already have a amazon fire stick in the tv usb slot) thanks |

3.5mm jack to phono plugs to connect your laptop to your amp. Very cheap and easy.

Does the USB socket stay powered when the TV is off?
So unless the HDMI passthrough to however the TV is connected to the Onkyo receiver still works in stand-by the signal would be cut off regardless of whether the Fire Stick remains powered or not. Does beg the question though whether the Fire Stick can be plugged into the Onkyo via a spare HDMI input and use a mains USB power adapter to power it. You would only need the TV on to navigate to the content you wanted to listen to then theoretically could turn the TV off and the Fire Stick should continue streaming to the Onkyo. |
