Another enjoyable episode which I wasn't prepared to reach the end of quite so soon. Looking forward to next week and, if this start has been anything to go by, the rest of the series

didn't really like this episode that much to be honest, just why were the ghosts trying to kill everyone? maybe it was just a letdown after the past 2 awesome episodes, i'll admit the cliffhanger was good.

Although i'm not excited by ghosts generally I enjoyed that very much

Oh as someone else said the pacing is fantastic. I always liked Toby Whithouse's Being Human and his Who has got better and better

This episode reminded me of Waters of Mars which I think was the best Tennent one. This is a cracking start to the series all 3 have been brilliant and this one is the best so far.

Watched and enjoyed rather than post, but that was a cracker!!! Loved that.

A cliffhanger you didn't expect that's for sure!

The Dr explained that when they killed people it was another person/ghost to send out the signal to their home world. Perhaps if you re watch last 15 mins you will catch it & will enjoy it more 👍🏻

Because when they (the ghosts) kill, the dead person becomes a ghost and each ghost acts a transmitter to somewhere, and the more ghosts there are the stronger the transmitter.

Great Episode!! Loved it!. Definitely worth a rewatch, Peter just seems so much more at ease and confident as The Doctor this year.

Fantastic episode. This looks to be be shaping up as a great series. It reminded me so much of The Impossible Planet. I loved that episode.

10
11 & 12

so technically 9 & 10 are the only single episodes however we have been told 5 & 6 is an 'unconventional' two parter, the only connection being Maisie Williams' character.

Good to see a strong Sci-Fi story on after the character stuff last week, though no doubt the show will be accused of alienating casual viewers again.

I felt it was a little slow to get started, but the second half had me on the edge of my seat. Even then, it probably only felt slow because it's been so long since we had a story which actually had enough time to "breathe" (so to speak).

It was definitely more of a slow-paced story compared to the frantic bombastic stories which have characterised recent years- and that's not a bad thing. As I expected, instead of showing off or going for a spectacle, Whithouse just goes for straightforward story-telling and in this case he delivers us with a mystery which held my attention throughout the episode. I'm really looking forward to the mystery being solved next week.

(EDIT: This thread is awfully quiet. I hope we can't read that as evidence that no-one can be bothered watching the show any more? )
