I felt it was a little slow to get started, but the second half had me on the edge of my seat. Even then, it probably only felt slow because it's been so long since we had a story which actually had enough time to "breathe" (so to speak).
It was definitely more of a slow-paced story compared to the frantic bombastic stories which have characterised recent years- and that's not a bad thing. As I expected, instead of showing off or going for a spectacle, Whithouse just goes for straightforward story-telling and in this case he delivers us with a mystery which held my attention throughout the episode. I'm really looking forward to the mystery being solved next week.
(EDIT: This thread is awfully quiet. I hope we can't read that as evidence that no-one can be bothered watching the show any more?
