No problems here in Germany, so it is likely to be a local issue with you.

Have you seen similar problems on different devices? I test streaming services every day and the web browser is the worst platform of them all. There are always issues and performance problems.

Thanks OVBG, I decided to watch Castle yesterday on my husband's Moto E android phone (for a try out) and the picture was awesome and not one problem. I tried other programmes and exactly the same, brilliant reception. So, one, wonders if it is my web browser. Which is Firefox and Explorer, both erratic reception.

Same problem today watching CSI Cyber. It was stuttering all through the programme. Do they call it buffering when the revolving circle appears. Really frustrating. Any solutions?

Would you be willing to get a STB to watch it on a TV? Is there any particular reason you use a browser?

The cheapest set-top-box is the Now TV one that costs £15. You don't have to use Sky's Now TV at all, and you will get Demand 5, BBC iPlayer, ITV Player and All 4 - and Demand 5 works great.

I've always found D5 to be unreliable on a range of platforms.

Never had any bandwidth issues with demand 5. Firefox and Plusnet ADSL.

My Samsung TV has a Demand5 app and I have never been able to watch a whole programme without problems so I rarely use it now. Other services like iPlayer. Netflix, Amazon on the same TV are fine

Watched CSI Cyber on Thursday and I had a trouble free view. Not one interruption but watched Castle, Yesterday and it was a pain in the butt. Every 10 seconds. Sticking and buffering.
It has to be a major problem as I keep searching online and loads of people complaining. I honestly thought I had cracked it by right clicking on the video and selecting settings and ticking hardware acceleration. But no luck.

Still having this infuriating problem. Tried unsuccessfully to watch NCIS, latest episode and even my android phone got the message. Woops, this programme is not available yet.
Error PT-30029-1
Considering I viewed half the show then repeatedly got this message.
My Broadband speed is 4.34 mbs download. Is that good enough?

4.34mbps is good enough if it is stable, but if it drops significantly at parts, this can certainly cause issues. So can your WiFi. Is this the speed test from your Android device where you try to watch content?
