Ok heres my theory.
I think everyone in that Kitchen has previous TV experience. Probably because the producers wanted people who a) could actually cook to some extent and b) would feel comfortable straight off the bat infront of the cameras. I think due to the short length that this show runs for, they had to really get people in who wouldn't need a week or so to feel comfortable infront of the cameras.
Probably because they feared a ratings nightmare if they brought in people with no TV or cooking experience. The celebs had no problem with the cameras last series because they were all used to performing to some extent. These guys seem far too comfortable and able to express themselves far too well to be genuinely new to TV.
I may be wrong but I think the producers cut a few corners and brought in some experienced people here. Like I said, I could be wrong here, but they just seem to have fitted into this whole show far too easily.
Either that, or they had a few days/weeks prior to this together. Who knows.
