I am betting on these 2 men to make the finale. I'm 100% sure at this point.
The only way that I can see Helen or Kellie make the finale over Georgia or Anita will be due to the popularity of their respective pros : Aljaz and Kevin.


Thoughts?

I think Kellie, Katie and Helen are all in with a chance to take those two spots over Georgia and Anita. However, I agree that both Peter and Jay will be in the final.

My prediction is:

Jay & Aliona
Georgia & Giovanni
with Kellie & Kevin an outside chance.
I think Helen will finish around 6th due to chemistry and public warmth to her, and I don't think Anita will make the top cut...she still is marmite to me.

I think it's way too open to call. Peter will be carried to the final by the judges marks ( and he may well have a lot of votes too and I have thought Jay would have a good chance of winning from the minute I saw his cv and heard about his ability. But its very hard to pick other finalists.

Like everyone else on here, it's definitely Jay and Peter for the boys, hard to say who is going to get there for the girls, I'm wondering if the tide of enthusiasm for Anton and Katie will get them there.

I think the judges will have the final say in all of the pre final shows, as to who gets through from the dance off, and I know they rarely agree with my decisions this might affect who gets to the final

Yeah it looks pretty much certain for the men ( Jay and Peter) but knowing which other 2 women might make it is tricky.

Jay, Helen, Georgia, Kellie (think that Peter's public vote might disappoint and one weak dance might easily see him voted off against any of the above).

As for Anita, l can't see it at the moment (reminds me of Susanna Reid; without the huge fanbase). Katie will have a nice run, but once in the dance-off it will be difficult to see them saving her against someone else (unless early in the series).

Jay and Peter are a shoo-in. For the girls it could be any of five: Katie, Georgia, Anita, Kellie or Helen. But who's doing the tour?! That plays a part too.

I'm not sure that Peter will make the final as he's a bit 'marmite'. If the judges big him up too much the voters will probably rebel and he could end up in the dance off.

I think there are 6 or 7 potential finalists in there and the girls are looking stronger than the boys at the moment to me.

I think Peter will be in the dance off before the end but the judges will save him every time. That's why he's a final shoo-in.

I am with the majority verdict on here re Peter and Jay - I cant see them not making the final, plus I do feel TPTB want a male winner this year, or at least a good shot at one, and 2 males in the final gives them reasonable odds.

I don't think any other male can be considered, unless Daniel's huge fan base ? carries him through and he is never in the DO.

It is harder to predict the females. Again, I would guess Georgia is doing the tour so she would be a * preferred* finalist and , at the moment, seems to be doing well, dance wise.

Kellie is undoubtedly good, but may struggle with work overload when they get down to 2 dances ( although I seem to remember Eastenders eased the pressure for Jake and gave him time off ).

Helen is good and possibly she has time to do the tour ? but I dont know how popular she is - she comes across as a bit too * lovey* and * special* to me atm, but that could change.

I would love to see at least one of Anita or Katie get there, but think it more likely to be either Helen or Kellie, joining Georgia in the final.

I would love to see Anthony's there. ..especially since he's one of my favorites but I don't see it for him . His arm injury will hamper his progress. It still looks bad . I'm not even sure how well he'll do his waltz this weekend

I am also with the majority regarding Peter and Jay but the women are a different kettle of fish.

I would agree with Anita and Georgia based on week 1 dances but Helen and Kellie have Aljaz and Kevin behind them and both reached finals/won before so we never know.

Although I like Kate, I can't see her reaching the final.

I just re read the thread and not one single poster is even considering Jamelia, hee hee!!

Is Kevin very popular though j like him but I have heard a lot of negative feedback on him
