BT Basic Internet

A friend has only just been swapped onto BT Basic, which like his last package also has a 10GB Monthly limit.
His broadband usage monitor on the "My BT" website now seems to have disappeared so we're wondering if this is a feature of BT Basic or does anyone know if it will reappear in a day or two?

If he logs in to home.bt.com,

then to the right of the screen quarter way down page, there should be a "my BT" drop down box.

Click on "My broadband usage"

BT have made changes to the site in the last day or so.

I only have phone with BT but it should be the same for him.

Thanks for the reply. It now turns out his order to change over to BT Basic has still not completed as BT seem to be having some sort of problem with their database, or with some other unspecified thing!!

Is he sure he wants to? - I've a seen a LOT of horror stories of massive bills (hundreds of pounds) for people on BT Basic.

Whatever he does, he really doesn't want to get an Apple TV box

TBH he rarely gets through 5GB per month so there's little danger of going over the limit.

It's supposed to cost just under £10 per month for phone plus internet which is great for someone on low income.

Unfortunately to get onto BT Basic his £22 existing package had to be unbundled in August, so he's now had 3 months of paying almost £40 a month and is still tearing his hair out waiting for the changeover to properly complete. Who on earth makes up these rules and stupid systems??
