I didn't think he had but wasn't sure if he'd had some more recently. I think with Peter and one or two others (singers) it's more experience in dancing in front of a live audience than actual training.
I find Jay a bit of a conundrum, he has the skill, the training base, the experience with performing and yet still I find him a bit robotic. Oddly enough I would say it's the difference between him and Ainsley who dances to/ and with/ the music, really feels it. Technically Jay is obviously streets ahead of Ainsley and there were moments on Saturday though when the joy broke through so I have no doubt he will not only make the final but my moneys on him to win (unless he does a Pixie).

Now if she started as a complete novice, then she didn't get nearly half as much credit from the judges and audience for her dancing ability as she should have. ”

Looking at the difference between Kara's performance on the Sport Relief special and her performances on Strictly (when the only training she had received in between was with Artem) I think they both deserve a bit more credit than they got. I'm not saying she was a total novice BTW as she said she did some ballet as a girl, but her starting point wasn't nearly as high as Denise or Natalie.
