If Lauren hadn't returned to Eastenders
The outcome would have been excactly the same. It was pointless bringing her back.

She was only on maternity leave, she was always going to come back at some point.

It wouldn't be right if she didn't come back. Lauren loves her dad and wanted to fight for his innocence.

I'm wondering whether Max would have been found not guilty if Lauren hadn't returned.
With Lauren putting pressure on Jane, would Phil have paid the jury guy to put pressure on the others to find Max guilty? I know Phil did it because he hates Max and wants to protect Ben and Jay (even though they didn't do it) as well as Bobby, but would he have gone that far if Jane and Sharon weren't going insane because of Lauren being around? |

I wanted Stacey to confront Lauren on what she said near live week. Lauren told Stacey that she knew what happened to Lucy yet this was forgotten! Also it wasn't really revealed how Lauren figured it out since the Beales knew that Lauren was suspicious even before it was revealed Bobby was the killer (due to the note). Jane didn't seem to bring this up.
I'm assuming that Peter and Lauren aren't married yet and will argue over Max, causing them to break up and have Lauren come back to Walford. |

Even though Lauren was fobbed off by the officer, she could have got a voice recorder to record Jane saying she's covering for Bobby.
All Lauren would need to do is ask Jane to reveal to the police what she has already told her. Jane would then most likely refuse to do so, saying "I can't. he's my Bobby", etc.. all of which will be recorded as evidence. |
