There are multiple other celebs who aren't trained at all, but you don't see their pro partners throwing a fit about it. Karen seems to be enjoying her time with Jeremy, wanting him to enjoy it, even though they both know he'll be an early exit. It's not about the pros getting the best partner but creating an enjoyable show. The not so good, but good spirited pairs are part of this.

James spouting off about strictly after not being part of it any more just makes him look bitter and petty.

My thoughts exactly!

I believe he is mouthing off about Ola's calender, in the mail they say that the BBC are not happy with them as it lowers the tone of a family show.

Does anyone know what James did to the BBC? I mean I know he is an ass, but it seems he has been banned from the show as he never goes to support Ola and last night they cut him out of the VT with Alex

Oh that never occurred to me, I wonder if he knew he'd been cut from the VT and that's what he was so angry about? 😁

The BBC wanting to curtail the Pro's outside activities isn't exactly a newsflash though. It was in the Daily Fail during the week. I've come to the conclusion that the BBC aren't that bothered by J J and his utterings. If they were they wouldn't have re-hired Ola and therefore given him insider info on the show.

I think James (and Darren) need to remember that - whatever his series narrative - Darren was never actually that bad. His whole journey arc was from week one to week 2. After that, he only scored under 30 once and never dropped below 4th on the leaderboard (most often being top 3). Even the start of the journey week one dance had him well out of the bottom 3 or 4 and more mid-table. He was always more an Anthony than a Iwan.

I can't believe the BBC actually had the scutty Ola back.

The sooner we don't have to see this couple on our screens the better.

Perhaps he doesn't get the respect he thinks is owing to him. He IS the Brad Pitt of the dance world don't you know?

Ola is now the weakness dancer out of all the pros. I suspect they have left her out of the pro dance dedicated to the girls tonight. The standard of dancing of the female pros is now very high. Think this should be Ola's last year. She has no personality.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Darren is comparing himself to Iwan but is talking more generally about the level of the celebs. I certainly agree Darren always showed promise and was a classic journey contestant (I voted for him!). Considering he's young and fit, Iwan is one of the least able celebs I have seen on the show. We've seen much older guys who are less fit dance better than Iwan. He'll never be a decent dancer and I'd say it is partly due to his attitude.

I agree with Patchbuncle - if the BBC were bothered about James' ranting, Ola would not be on the show.

I'm not sure what he's said that people are going on about TBH. The tweet in the OP mentioned finding out about something on Saturday, but I think I must have missed what it was that's got posters slating him.

Poor Ola, she gets a lot of stick because of her husband.

And aside from being fairly attractive, her dance and choreography is akin to a female Due Beke

Ola is a trained Ballroom dancer which is more than you can say about some of the other pros, so to say she's the weakest just doesn't make sense. You may not like her, but everybody has a personality and let's face it, several female pros have been dropped since Ola joined the show so she must be popular enough.

Oh yeh I see that now. No wonder Anton is always paired with the joke celeb. He's lucky this year. Katie makes him look good IMO.

Oh for crying out loud, did Katie learn to tango by herself and choreograph that beautiful number?

I agree. My guess is she must want to strangle James sometimes, but they are a devoted couple so she sticks up for him. He's proud of having a beautiful wife and her calendar might be raunchy, but it's not exactly the old Page 3 standards.

Some posters just enjoy being nasty about people they have never met. Each to their own I guess.

If Ola really objected to James' behaviour surely she would have asked him to stop by now and, if he loved her as much as he always says he does, he would do so for her sake. The fact that he hasn't stopped suggests Ola is as happy with the situation as the BBC presumably is as they haven't got rid of her yet.

How do you know Ola hasn't asked him to stop, but he just can't help himself? Do you really believe loving someone means you'll stop doing something if they ask? We're talking about a light entertainment show, not giving up drugs or something.

Wish he would just dissappear.

Exactly, if he was trying to give up drugs I would have a lot more sympathy for him. If you can't give up sending annoying tweets for someone you love (for the sake of both your incomes apart from anything else) that's pretty poor
