Depends, judges have their favourites too & viewers voting will remember the last 3 or 4 better than first 3 or 4 when picking phone up. There's also perception now, after years of watching, that the most showstopping (not necessarily best) will go last

Helen got slated by the judges for being too stiff and Len made sure he mentioned that she'd had some ballet experience and she definitely wasn't overmarked.

Peter, on the other hand, gets the end slot again, does a mediocre quickstep with round shoulders, stompy flat feet and no grace and gets overmarked...again.
There is definitely an agenda here.

SCD is a tv show and producers place dancers to create best show based on ability / dance. Start with wow. End with wow. This talk about pimp slots is just nonsense.
