I found tess's very distracting. I kept wanting to snip the white strips to see what would happen.

It did look like a giant sock clip elastic, I kept wanting to ping it and hear it slap

I agree. Tess's outfit had understated elegance and it suited her very well. Claudia looked a bit of a mess.

I liked it, but the white straps didn't go with the silver belt and would have worked better if they'd matched.

Both dresses were terrible i thought.
The white looked even more out of place with the silver belt and did nothing for her shape. Why is Tess obsessed with belts?

Claud's looked terrible too, and was her make up subliminal advertising for the Dr WHo episode that followed?
