1.) I'm really starting to like Katie and Anita, I hope they both do well.

2.) I quite like Craig, I think Bruno can be a lot nastier, but somehow that's okay because it's funny?

3.) I get that they think Gleb is attractive, but the comments are getting a liiiiittle uncomfortable...

4.) I'm surprised Len didn't say anything re: Jay's waltz about so much being out of hold (he did the choreography he was given well, though)

5.) How does bringing dogs into training help your hips????

1. Loved Katie and Anton again. I think he is proving he can take it seriously when he has a partner that's up to it and that was some of the best tango choreography on the show in a while.
2. Anita's Charleston felt more like a swing/rock and roll - didn't see any swivel at all.
3. Why do the pros (Brendan and Aljaz this week) keep putting in body rub/sexy face moves when their partners just look awkward and uncomfortable doing it? If it looks that bad, take it out.
4. Kirsty seems like another Victoria Pendleton and her reaction to the judges scores probably won't endear her to voters.
5. Love Jay and Aliona.

1. never thought it would happen but i actually enjoyed anton's performance tonight, mainly because of katie, but for once he didn't annoy me by detracting from his partner...

2. legs. lots of ladies with really great legs this year. shallow i know, but true

3. jay. another competent but somewhat distant dance. leave your mum at home next week. looking to her constantly for approval / support is starting to look a tad oedipal....

4. ainsley took the jeremy slot this week for sheer fun and exhuberance, with added dance ability.

5. iwan go home. and take anthony with you.

1) For someone who is on such a judgemental show, Jamelia cannot take criticism at all - and makes zero attempt to hide the fact.
2) Katie - looked the best, danced the best - a real pity about the stumble
3) Jay - some of the best male spins I have ever seen on Strictly.
4) Wonderful characterisation by Helen - dancing could have been better. Let her off because of how hot Aljaz looked in those buttoned-down dungarees!!! And note to Iwan - THAT'S how to wear a tattoo!
5) Would never have thought Kirsty, of all people, needs to be hidden - I have NEVER seen a salsa with so many lifts!

1) Having watched his dance back, Peter was massively overmarked (even more so than I'd originally thought).

2) Having watched her dance back, Katie was massively undermarked (even more so than I'd originally thought).

3) G'wan Ainsley.

4) Don't g'wan Iwan.

5) I'm predicting Carol vs Kirsty for the dance-off, with Carol going. Also, I never thought I'd see the day (pun sort of intended) when Aliona would top a leaderboard again.

3. Anita seems underrated to me (both by the judges and by some DS commentors. I think she has amazing rhythm and ease of movement .

3. Iwan was appallingly bad.
4. Helen has two beautiful dogs.

1. Iwan is possibly one of the worst contestants ever. Useless at dancing and unlikeable. Even more so than Jamelia. Which is saying something.

2. Anita- even though I like her, she thinks she is better than she is. If she wants to know what a Charleston looks like see Sophie Ellis Bextor.

3. Jeremy is worse than I thought, but I like him.

4. Carol was slightly better this week, but why keep the umbrella in their hands.

5. Anthony is a waste of time. Why enter something that requires training with an injury.

1. Jay and Aliona, the best dance of the night. I loved those spins Bruno also mentioned. I loved that moment with Aliona spinning alone, Jay walking next to her and then getting back into hold.

2. We are living in strange times when my second best dance has something to do with Anton. It was a little Gesamtkunstwerk I thought, they looked the part, danced very well, nice music, dancefloor looked nice. Well done.

3. Giovanni was sweating like a pig watching David Cameron approach.

4. I love quickstep, my most favourite dance, I just did not like this one. I find Janette's choreographies unrewarding. A lot of work goes into them I am sure, but they just don't wow me as much as they could.

5. Helen and Aljaz, nice try, but my favourite cha cha cha is still Jay's from the last week.

1) Claudia and Tess were not on form tonight. The Glebtasy didn't help at all.

2) Think that we can safely say that the Blackpool 9 will be 6 women and 3 men (unless Jamelia does not improve).

3) To my surprise Katie did a very good tango (training footage was misleading).

4) Helen performed the best CCC of the night (perhaps not the most hip action, but her precise footwork made up for it).

5) Have a horrible feeling that next week is a theme week

1. Katie, Jay, Helen, Anita - talented and very watchable
2. Tristan is a poor teacher- not teaching basics
3. Brendan's euphoria at getting Kirsty must be evaporating into disappointment now
4. Ola really must go off this show now. Terrible choreography all the time.
5. Katie looked beautiful - dress, hair, everything.

1. I would just love to have Katie's dress sent to me and I will wear it to walk around Paris, it was stunning and she was stunning in it too as was her dancing, just needs to be more stable at times.
Wardrobe have got their act together, stunning outfits this year.

2. I so often say what Craig says, only tonight with Anita, she had slme bad lines with her legs and feet and was quite sloppy at times too. Right with him with Peter, those legs coming up like a trotting horse!

3. Jamelia is so bad in the legs. She never sloses them, never points her foot and doesn't stretch them either, I wonder if Tristan is even telling her what to do. They are just so bad, they look ugly, I wish she would sort them out, she has musicality and gives it her all, but it's soooo bad.
She and Iwan also think they are far better then they are.

4. Georgia, I agree that her feet were not correct and for me she was lacking something in her poise and extensions at times, but I felt she was undermarked. I wish she would reach more and drive through her legs from the hip.

5. I think some of the pros are not making corrections, I have seen the VTs from early in the week and not much seemed to be done, Jamelia and her feet and pidgeon toes, Georgia and her flexed foot. I do feel some of the pros let the celebs down sometimes and don't explain how you get the correct movement or placements.

1...hate the vt's, would much rather see their actual dancing than black pudding tasting, outings to the Thames or hairdressers...

2...loved Jay's dance, still my favourite, not a fan of the haircut, should have been left a bit longer to show his individuality rather than being made to conform to a short 'do

3. Loved Anton's comment re his velvet and knit combo but wish he he'd stop hogging Katie's moment ps (albeit he did tone down from last week)

4... Really not getting the Peter love, his dance was barely quickstep and what was looked like he was training for a go in Daniels horse race!

5...love Ainsley and Natalie.... (And Tristan!)

1. My favourite dance was Jay's, also liked Peter and Anita's

2. Was so busy looking at Giovanni that I had to watch the dance again to see
what Georgia was doing

3. Ainsley made me laugh, in a good way

4. Good to see Anthony dressed in tails for his ballroom dance

5. Surprised that Pasha held the umbrella for the whole dance, very distracting

5a Pleased that Anton seems to have a good partner this year

1) Poor Carol, that was the most cringeworthy fake VT going, she deserves better.

2) RIP Jay's long hair.

3) I think Daniel is actually a good dancer.

4) Jeremy isn't that bad either, and they're both fun to watch.

5) Katie & Anton's tango was brilliant.

1. Very much like Helen but she can look a bit Stepford Wife-ish when she dances. Also, I prefer her with her short Trixie hair.

2. My eyes are constantly drawn to Katie. She's so statuesque, a dream to dress I imagine. And when she dances as she does it just makes her whole look even more striking.

3. Ainslie made me smile. If I'd been around to vote I'd have given him mine.

4. Peter, in places, looked like a galloping horse.

5. "I'm Sexy And I Know It" - you're really not, Iwan.

1. Katie and Anton's tango was my dance of the night. It had wonderful atmosphere.
2. Poor Iwan. Terrible song for a cha cha cha that encouraged the worst routine and moves. Also, who thought shocking pink was a good colour for him??
3. The cha cha chas were all poor to average; Helen and Kellie were the best because they are quite good dancers. Found the routines from Ola and Tristan vulgar.
4. Kirsty ... terrible, as bad as Iwan. Brendan getting in a strop about the scores was unnecessary.
5. No criticism from Len for lifts in cha cha cha even though Pixie and Trent were drilled into the ground by him for alleged lifts in their routine. No comment on the gapping in Peter and Janette's dance. Massive undermarking for Georgia. Crazy.

Yes, they overdo it. I'd like to see them tone it down a bit but I don't think it's in either of their nature to do so.

1. This show felt very surreal, I can't even put my finger on why. It just felt like an out of body experience for the first half!
2. Katie has some serious flexibility! She's a real shock for me.
3. Anita seems underrated to me (both by the judges and by some DS commentors. I think she has amazing rhythm and ease of movement for a beginning, and is going to go far.
4. Jamelia is giving me Michelle Williams vibes. I think there's so much expectation upon her to perform, having been a pop singer, that she goes for it too hard and technique and rhythm go out the window. That said, I do like her.
5. Carol made a really big improvement for me, and I found her foxtrot quite charming.
Number 1, oh my god, so did I! I thought I was having a turn (I am prone to strange migraines and fainting, so I thought it was that), that is so strange, I felt out of body too.
Do you think there was something to the production? That is so crazy!!!

I'm starting to get the same impression re Tristan. Is the technique drilled enough?! Performance-wise she delivered the confidence and sexiness the song demanded so it's a shame the technique nosedived. I think a tough Russian trainer like Artem would have been a better suit than 'laid-back and lovely' Tristan.

That salsa was the pits. Brendan getting his just deserts

Peter .. touch of the 'my little ponies' about that quickstep.
Jay ... adorable .. something magical happens when he dances.
Iwan .. dire .. if I've seen a worse dance, I've thankfully forgotten it.
Katie .. there for the long run and deservedly so.
Some gorgeous outfits tonight .. on the celebs/pros .. wardrobe ought to dress Tess and Claudia.

1 I like all of them this year, even the couple that seem less popular on here

2 Lot's of potential winners, and that makes for a better show

3 I hope Ainslie and Jeremy don't go too early....they make me smile

4 It's wonderful watching Anton with such a dream partner

5 Costume made Kellie look awful, and she needs to tone down her acting.

Jeremy and Iwan not the best dancers but badly let down by the choreography .

Looking forward to watching Katie and Anton - who knew .She is stunning and enjoying Anton enjoy himself and actually seeing what he can choreograph.

Loved Jay and Aliona's waltz , feel they have great chemistry , regardless of previous contemporary dance experience . blah blah blah....

Like Peter and Janette as personalities but have not enjoyed any of Peter's dances so far

Don't know what Kirsty is thinking , would hope my friends would tell me when I'm as deluded
