I've only one point to make really.

1. Hating the over-use of lighting effects - it detracts from the dancers

2. Why can't we see some decent training clips? Not interested in silly contrived "outings"

3, Iwan - what on earth? Does he really not understand that these dances have set, proper steps and not made up of "DIY" chuck yourself on the floor like a 2yr old having a tantrum?

4. Kirsty. What a disappointment. Poor Brendan, looks like he's got another Pendleton to deal with

5. No fan of Anton's but good to see him able to actually dance for once. BUT - if he had been the celeb instead of the pro I'm sure Craig would have jumped on him for having his thumb up and his hand splayed on Katie's back looking like a bunch of bananas - Shame on you Anton.

1) Aisnley and Natalie are wonderful and the Salsa was genius
2) Shades of Gabby Logan with La Logan? Rule number one of competitive reality TV - never question the drubbing you just received if it's deserved
3) Iwan looks thoroughly miserable - I suspect he isn't long for this ballroom world, but may have been given a stay of grace thanks to being last on the leaderboard
4) Two dances in a row from Anton that could be considered among the best of the night? That's so 2004 (or 2009, until Laila's fake tan calamity)
5) I love Tristan as a pro but he doesn't seem to be getting the best out of Jamelia. How much is he at fault with this?

1) Alright, it wasn't as incredible 2nd time round as first, but 6s, from Len AND Bruno for Anita's Charleston? Len I can just about get, but I thought 7 at least from Bruno.

2) I know she's not exactly Natalie Gumede, but was Kirsty's Salsa really an equal standard to her Waltz (or worse if you listen to Len)?

3) I love Claudia, non-sequiturs and raccoon eyes included.

4) I legitimately expected a Craig "1!" for Iwan's... Cha-Cha-Cha? Was that really what that was meant to be? Truly, memorably terrible.

5) ...Katie. <3 Best dance of the night, even with the stumble, and best dress of the competition so far. A fair bit undermarked, deserved the same as Jay, 7, 8, 8, 8; would've probably been 8, 8, 9, 8 without the tiny stumble.

1. I don't say "Poor Ola" very often, but "poor Ola". She appears to be utterly dead behind the eyes, completely adrift from Iwan and the effort to do anything for a dance. I have not seen a professional dancer so 'robotic' since Aliona with Gregg.

2. Anton and Katie are just wonderful, and I can't fathom all the consequences of saying that sentence.

3. Jay and Aliona were excellent - Jay's turns/spins in particular.

4. If Natalie is hurtling towards Erin territory, Pasha is now in Darren territory.

5. Harsher more honest judging is encouraging. Points all over the shop, still,. but at least there's some actual critiques going on.

Awful as it was, who put those terrible steps and moves together for a cha cha cha ? Ola of course, terrible lazy choreographer. Anyone remember the head banging moves she gave Andrew Castle to do in his Tango ? That got heavy criticism too.

3. Jay is such a gorgeous dancer, but good lord he is dead from the neck up. Gurn it up a bit, Jay, it won't kill you. (But your haircut is much appreciated)
I think he smiled once, maybe even twice, I would have to watch again, not that it would be such a chore. I am sure it wasn't rehearsed so he really enjoyed that moment and had to smile. I found that better than if he had some false grin on the whole time.

1. A strange collection of dances to compare, but at least no rumbas

2. Iwan really dreadful, that bit in the middle on the floor - why....

3. Kirsty, seemed to be marked very harshly so can understand their reaction at the judges score but probably best not to let it show

4 - Katie, Anita and Jay dances of the night for me. Really didnt enjoy Iwan, Anthont or Jamelia's offering

5 - Think Tess and Claudia are doing a grand job of presenting

1. Why is there a coffin behind the judges table?
2. The 'training' (I use the term very loosely) vts seem to have got cornier than ever - is Karen Hardy directing them?
3. Claudia’s frankly scary cougaring over the new professional Gleb is cringeworthy – isn't she married? Oh wait – that means nothing on this show – maybe she will make a pass at him!
4. Ainsley and Natalie are my favourites at the moment - I've always loved Natalie and Ainsley is a joy to watch.
5. What on earth were Daly and Winklepicker wearing? Daly had her usual belt, as well as something resembling a dog collar below her neck, while Winklepicker was wearing a frock looking like it’s crafted out of paper.

I did not like that Charleston much, I'd like it less contemporary. For me it works better if it is traditional and slightly mad. Not everything needs to be updated, IMO.

But Kevin doesn't for putting it into a CCC.

1. Katie actually smiles too much! A good fault to have - most places. But her Tango was very good - and smile-less.

2. Jamelia - hot! but disappointing. I like how she took the criticism.

3. Iwan - we're not enjoying it either.

4. Jeremy has a great attitude - hope he lasts a while.

5. Daniel did just enough to get by, but did it sweetly.

1. Katie and Anton are just a joy to watch. Best dance of the night I hope they make it to the final.
2. A bit disappointed with Jamelia, Helen and Jeremy.
3. Loved Ainsley and Natalie such a great pairing.
4. Jay and Aliona were amazing.
5. I wouldn't be surprised if Iwan and Ola are the first to go.

1/ I'm slowly falling in love with Jay I think I was annoyed at first when he got the haircut but it actually looked great afterwards. His dancing is fantastic. Absolutely loved his waltz and his shyness and general awkwardness is very endearing. Definitely my favourite.
2/ Loved Natalie and Ainsley. He's so much fun to watch. I bet he never has a "bad day". I want to live in Ainsley Land
3/ Very disappointed with the seeming lack of chemistry between Jamelia and Tristan as he's my favourite pro. I'm still hoping Jamelia will start to improve but I feel Tristan would have been better paired with someone like Anita or Kelly.
4/ Iwan is truly awful. Definitely should be first out IMO.
5/ I absolutely loath these horribly scripted training VT's. Carol's was SO cringeworthy - please make it stop

1. Anton and Katies tango was a joy to watch, the dancing was great, the music was fabulous and her dress was to die for, the polo neck however.......

2. Poor Iwan it was terrible but i really felt for him, Ola was manic

3. Kirstie! what! you were awful, watch it back!

4. there is something magical about watching Jay, I think he will be brilliant as time goes on.

5. Natalie and Ainslie, just made me smile, I used to find her annoying but she seems a lot nicer lately.

1. Forget Jeremy, my biggest laugh out loud moment was Peter Andre trotting across the dance floor with his knees almost up to his chin.
2. Loving Anton's joy and excitement this year.
3. Tess and Claudia, please stop swooning over Gleb, it's getting tired already and we're only on week 2.
4. I keep on forgetting that Georgia is on the show.
5. Please bring back proper training VTs.

1. Wardrobe has improved massively. All the ladies looked elegant and sexy in a nice way.
2. Katie's and Antons were great. I thought it was scored properly as the there was a stumble and technically she is not that great yet. Loved how she looked and has gone from meh to one of my three favourites in just one show.
3. Disappointed in Anita's charleston and Helens Cha Cha Cha . I thought Anita's was messy, technically average and The choreo a bit too fractured. Helens is a bit of a disappointment (technically her training was promising and personality wise she seems to lack Pixies sparkly personality) but I haven't given up on her yet, after all she has Alijaz by her side!
4. Jay and Aliona. Great dancing, I hope he will improve in showing his love of dancing (which is clearly there) when performing. I thought technically was the best dance of the night, but slightly enjoyed Katie's tango more as a dance.
5. Peter. Overmarked. Very slow QS and very poor footwork.

I thought it was a good dance but not a good Charleston - if that makes sense? Too much 'swing' etc., not enough 'proper' Charleston moves.

I'll take a bonus 6...

Enough with the 50s and 60s themed dances now, Kevin!

Seconded. I really like Kellie but don't think either of her first two dances have showed her off much. Especially the theme Kevin chose for week one. Which is annoying because she looks like she's technically very good. Looking forward to that changing in the future (hoping)

Loving Katie and Anton
Ditto Ainsley
Terrible American Smooth choreography from Karen did Jeremy a disservice
Kirsty's reactions to her scores!
Stop wittering on when the judges are talking ,Tess
Totally agree with comment about choreography from Karen for Jeremy.

All the dancers are doing really well for this stage of the contest.
Jay was amazing last night, such a dreamy dance. What about Daniel too, what a surprise!
I just love the show, one thing that spoils it for me is Claudia acting silly.
I for one don't think she's funny at all.

1. I really loved Daniel and Kristinas dance

2. Kirsty looked A-May-Zing, shame her dancing isn't up there. I honestly thought she'd be brilliant before the show started

3. I really like Iwan even though he can't dance bless him

4. Tristan giving Alionas hand a squeeze after her and Jay's dance- awwwwwww

5. Jay and Aliona were just awesome. I sooooo want her to be the first double winner. (I reckon it's between her and Aljaz to get the double)

1. Went from liking all of them last week to not really liking any of them this week!

2. As Brendans No 1 fan I'm devastated that Kirsty isn't Katie or Anita!

3. If i had to be pushed as to which celebrity i liked the most last night it would have to be Daniel (don't understand it myself so no point asking me why!)

4. Tess and Claudia are embarrassing themselves

5, Please stop with the stupid irrelevant VTs

My bonus thought Anita was really under marked. I loved it.
