1. Loved Katie, Jay and Ainsley (Natalie is a genius)
2. Oh Lord : Iwan, Kirsty, Carol and Anthony, what a mess
3. Jeremy loving it but can't dance
4. Daniel is rather scary 😱 (an animated Ken doll, I use the term animated rather loosely &#128521
5. And then there are the others 😌 Enjoyable but not exciting

#1 = Thought Ainsley was amazing, really hoping they go far
#2 = Loved both charlestons, thought Anita was undermarked
#3 = Peter overmarked again, and was near the end. Craig said it was limp and laboured and then they get 7s and 8s, how does that work?
#4 = Thought Jamelia and Kirsty should have both scored higher than the first week
#5 = Think bottom 2 will be Iwan vs Kirsty although Jamelia, Carol and maybe even Jeremy (I seriously hope not) could be in danger

Cheeky #6 = Katie's tango, it sounded like they tangoed up a pop song but what was it?

Do you think he chose it? From what I gather the pros have less and less say over music choices and wardrobe kit the contestants out according to theme and dance.

2. Katie's and Antons were great. I thought it was scored properly as the there was a stumble and technically she is not that great yet. Loved how she looked and has gone from meh to one of my three favourites in just one show.
3. Disappointed in Anita's charleston and Helens Cha Cha Cha . I thought Anita's was messy, technically average and The choreo a bit too fractured. Helens is a bit of a disappointment (technically her training was promising and personality wise she seems to lack Pixies sparkly personality) but I haven't given up on her yet, after all she has Alijaz by her side!
4. Jay and Aliona. Great dancing, I hope he will improve in showing his love of dancing (which is clearly there) when performing. I thought technically was the best dance of the night, but slightly enjoyed Katie's tango more as a dance.
5. Peter. Overmarked. Very slow QS and very poor footwork.”

I think the dresses have been rather nice thus far until Carol's this weekend. When one of the judges (Craig I think) told her to not waft her skirt like a tea towel, I thought, well it looks like a bit of a rag. I'm afraid that her bodice is not for a woman with a large bosom either. It had little support and pushed both breasts together as one lump. So for her: minimal elegance and no sexiness.

1. The V.Ts are getting more and more cringeworthy with every passing episode.
2. Already dreading Movie week. Themed weeks have never worked and never will imo.
3. Anton doesn't half make me chuckle .
4. The gap between the contenders and 'the rest' seems wider than ever even at this early stage.
5. I believe SCD may have potentially the best male celebrity dancer ever to grace the series this year........... hopefully

1. Really liked Derham before (as a classical fan), but last two weeks just reinforced. Would be happy if she won (though unlikely)
2. Good cast this year, and majority happy to see advance/improve. Especially surprises like Katie, Jay, Anita
3. Bit so-so on Helen, especially considering ballet training and a little bit 'poor little me' act
4. Loved Anita's dance but did think it felt more a Lindy than a Charleston
5. Will not be at all surprised to see gone next few weeks (in no particular order): Iwan, Kirsty, Carol, Antony, Jamelia, Vine. I think Daniel has a big fanbase which will keep him in a while.

1. I like Jamelia, I'm glad she was saved.
2.Kirsty looked absolutely terrified waiting under the spotlight to see who was in the dance-off - painful to watch!
3. I like Gleb, despite the showboating accusations I think he must be a good teacher to have brought out such ability in a non-performer like Anita, she must really trust him.
4. I agree with all the comments about wardrobe, the dresses have been really classy, and the hair and make-up has been good too.
5. Oti in the Rod Stewart routine looked sensational!

My five thoughts for the Sunday show:

1) Oh bless Jeremy! He is utterly adorable!

2) Really happy that Jeremy, Daniel, and Katie got through.

3) Sorry for Jamelia winding up in the bottom two, should have been Kirsty.

4) Iwan grated on me at first but then I realised that he is probably ADD and just really hyper. After that, he started to grow on me & I think he's actually a decent bloke. Sorry for his sake, but definitely the right call by the judges!

5) Interesting that when pushed for time they cut out interviewing Anthony, Kirsty, and Anita and jumped straight to Jay.

1. I loved Jay, Anita and Katie's performances
2. Ainsley and Jeremy's dances were very entertaining, great to see them enjoying it so much
3. I agree with others that the dresses have been great so far although Carol's was not very flattering this week and I although Oti looked stunning as always, I'd have preferred to see her waltz in a proper ballroom dress.
4. Hair and makeup also great, I especially loved Anita's and Katie's
5. Anton very funny, it's great to see him with a half decent partner at last

1. Stop dancing on the judges' desk
2. Too much umbrella holding from Pasha
3. LOVED Ainsley's salsa.
4. Baffled by Kellie & Kevin's glasses
5. Peter Andre's knees as he galloped in the QS had me laughing even after the end of the dance.

1. Loved Anita’s dance, under marked methinks. OK, deduct marks for dodgy technique but add marks for performance
2. Also though Kirsty was under marked, not great but worth 24
3. Thinking the judges are deliberately marking low to give themselves somewhere to go
Last year the total points awarded for the first two weeks were 723, this year it is 707
4. Not bothered about peculiar marking in the first few weeks as long as the good dancers don’t go out in Penny v Gabby dance offs
5. Otherwise enjoyed it last night, particularly the dances of Katie, Anita, and Jay (those turns !)

I turned it off after Kellie and Kevin's intro. My eyes! But my thoughts to that point:

1. I liked Jay's hair better before - much better.

2. Maybe Karen can help Jamelia get her bandy legs sorted; i.e., I'm not sure bowleggedness can be fixed – put her in fringed trousers or very long dresses please, despite the loveliness of limb.

3. Iwan is an odd man. He said he had ADD – Get back on your Ritalin, son. Or is it Adderall nowadays?

4. Thoroughly enjoyed Kirsty's liftathon (that last one was a doozie) and both their reactions backstage – keep 'em coming! Makes for a nice change from shruggingly accepting and all that dull "The judges are right..." prattle... They're scripted idiots! Rage against the machine!

5. I still want to know why Giovanni is sweating like that, even after a slower number than last week. Call the midwife! (or the medic or something) I'm gonna go Google what conditions cause extreme perspiration. Have they not wiped out malaria in Italy?

1). Georgia & Gio
Pleasantly surprised with Georgia. I liked how Georgia attacked the jive and how lively and energetic the pair looked in week 1. Wished Gio didn't leave Georgia alone at the very beginning of their waltz, as her solo immediately showed tension in her arm movements and shoulders (perhaps its a bit too early to leave celebs alone). Judges were spot on about her spoiled top line. It's a step back for the couple this week, but she'll dust herself off and forge forward. As the weeks progress, I would like to see glimpses of her emotional depth as its difficult to gauge at the moment. I think her ability to dig deep and to show her depth in harmony with the ballroom dance/music scores could help the couple's cause. If she can consistently correct the ballroom technique lapses as the weeks progress, this couple may make a deep run in the dance competition.

2). Helen & Aljaz
If her week 1 waltz is any indication, Helen has one of the most natural feel and ability to dance alongside subtle musical crests and waves in classical, instrumental scores. I think she's in the right industry (arts and entertainment) as well. Thought she made a real valiant effort with the cha cha, as her hips and leg work seemed a bit forced in the cha cha locks. Her arms are not graceful and sensual yet (relative to Anita's and Georgia's), and I do agree with Darcy, namely about the other latin dances coming her way (especially the samba and salsa), as I want her to do well. While every celeb has something to hone in on, I wish Helen can be more vulnerable in the dances and with the audience/viewers. She's a great actress and may hide a bit behind this fact, but if she can reveal a peek about her true self, motivations, fears, struggles and worries, I think it would add a whole new feel and layer to her future dances. It will be a massive undertaking on her part (imo), but if successful, it would open a floodgate of opportunities for this couple.

3). Jay & Aliona
They have a nice man women look to them and they create a lovely picture together. True, for the waltz, Jay still needs to lengthen his neck and back (bring his shoulders back, chin up) for better posture, and needs to dance away from Aliona when in hold. However, in addition to the nice dancing Jay showcased thus far, its great to watch Aliona's free and uninhibited choreography surfacing. The hockey stick action in their cha cha (nice way of riding the music and teasing the audience), the timing and release of the music and built up tension through the head rolls in the waltz was fun to watch. If anything, these are healthy signs and clues that their partnership is alive and well behind closed doors in the training studio. Think this couple still needs to undergo an important future test that will refine his dancing even more, but for now, its a pleasure watching these two out on the dance floor.

Best of luck to all the celebs and looking forward to their dances.

1 - Loved Jeremy and Karen's reaction to getting a 3 from Craig - has a 3 ever resulted in 'yeahs' of excitement before, also their delight when Len mentioned the heel lead.

2 - Ainsley makes me laugh - he's a bit rubbish, but still entertaining and just makes me smile

3 - Katie could be seriously good - it's great to see Anton's delight at having somebody he can actually give a proper routine to

4 - Carol seemed less nervous - glad she wasn't at the bottom of the leaderboard this week.

5 - I didn't think Jay was as good as the judges did - he looked a bit awkward I thought?

Sneaky 6 - Daniel's comment to Bruno - 'You're looking at a 53 year old horse...'

Georgia was good, only a few tiny mistakes and underscored again. I Loved their Waltz, and i hope she does even better in the Rumba

Jay was technically really good, but he needs to wow the audience in the slower dances.

1. such a shame that Anthony's injury means hes clearly not up to this - was really looking forward to him and Oti but I dont think we'll ever get to see what could have been....

2. still not getting the Gleb phwoooarrr raaarghhh arghhhh there go me knickers comments from Tess & Claudia - he's not THAT attractive. it is becoming very weird now, like we're being forced into a cult or something

3. Hoping that being in bottom 2 may have give Jamelia a kick up the arse and that she might start listening to Tristan though I doubt it. Lovely laid back Tristan is just not the partner for her.

4. Jay is my early shout for the winner though I don't think that's exactly controversial

5. if you're going to be terrible like Jeremy do it with massive amounts of energy and confidence

1) "Sexy and I Know It" is not something I ever thought I'd hear on Strictly. And judging by Saturday with good reason.

2) Jay's in with a shot. Same with Helen. Both seem lovely and natural dancers. Feels already like producers want Peter to win though - he had great slots both weeks so far.

3)Scoring all over the shop as ever by the judges. Daniel's endearing but awkward Charleston didn't deserve the same marks as Anita and Gleb's one for me. Thought Anthony's waltz was undermarked too.
4) Bruno seemed slightly rude at times with his comments.
Same with Tess and Claudia's gawping at Gleb.

5)Katie's my absolute favourite so far. Fun to watch, a classy lady, gets on well with Anton and she really is gorgeous. Hope she goes far - can't see her winning but she should hopefully do well.

It's all decided, resistance is futile and people are sheep.

1. Jamelia's attitude has been her most impressive feature - the dancing seems to have gone the other way so far.

2. Constructive criticism for some of the celebs - but not all.

3. The thought of another rub down by Brendan while waiting for the results is either going to motivate Kirsty to work harder or bring the nerves back.

4. I'm left with the impression they want 2 of the men to stick around.

5. If they can get some of the music and theming right - why not all of it?

Now that they've each danced twice, here are my top 4 predictions based on dance ability and popularity:
1. Jay
2. Katie
3. Peter
4. Anita/Helen/Georgia

Relieved it wasn't just me who thought that- I haven't seen or heard anyone else notice it. Other than that, loved his dancing.

1. Kevin has put on a lot of weight and Pasha's not far behind him.
2. Loving Jay's performances but agree he needs to sort out his facial expressions.
3. Anton's smirks during his dance was a bit distracting during the tango.
4. The camera work is atrocious. Surprised to hear Jay say he loved the camera work on his dance because I thought it bloody awful.
5. The VT's are dragging the show down. They need to bring in someone who can come up with better ideas for these segments. It all looks thrown together and amateurish
