A bad dancer with personality or a good dancer without personality

I prefer a bad dancer with personality, but Widdie and Nancy did not have personality! Of course like others I desire a decent dancer with personality. I find it most disappointing when a good dancer has little personality on the floor. Rachel Stevens and Louis Smith lacked personality for me. I'm afraid that Jay is lacking for me at the moment. I hope that as his nerves improves I see some of his personality shows.

I have always thought that Strictly was the absolute making of Louis Smith. He came across as so shy and inhibited in the early part of the competition, that he didn't look like he was enjoying it. Gradually Flavia chipped away and by the end of the series we saw a totally different character.

I was astounded to see him appear in one of the professional dance routines last series, he was totally believable and danced like he'd been doing it his entire life. Strictly seemed to give him the confidence to pursue a career outside his sport as well as introduce him to dancing.

Trouble is we didn't get to see more of her training where she did have fun, BBC are so inept of whom they want to show well and who they want to show not so well. It's their way and the highway.

Agree there, rachel was better on a technical level wheras tom was better on a performance level. I didn't like John seargeant if I'm honest, he was terrible.
