Recommend a Forgotten Song
Here's mine, a pub rock epic from 1977:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khXhQJFqFu0 It may be the vocals which let them down a bit: I always imagine a little beer bottle bouncing along the top of the lyrics. |

Aisha by Death In Vegas from 2000. A Top Ten hit but I've never heard it on the radio at all since then.

On a dedicated music message board, people were adding YouTube links, to tracks which related to the title. "Girl Groups of the Sixties,"
I must confess despite recognising many, there were forty of whom I'd never heard, but liked. Probably because the board was based in the USA. Here's one example. Clydie King. "Missing My Baby." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqKrMwwqgxU She made a lot of records and was also in demand as a backing singer. |
