Hi Kay Dee. Lovely to see you again!! I well agree with you Anita is like a breath of fresh air. I cannot wait to see what she does with ballroom!! Also love Jay. Helen and Katie.

She's a nice surprise so far.

Will be better to have an all round view on her chances once we see her in ballroom.

I like Anita but disappointed in Gleb, in how few actual dance steps he's choreographed for Anita in both dances .

Yes, would agree - however, who actually choreographed the "Charleston"? Very often nowadays, choreography for some of the dance styles is by a third party.

A missed opportunity really, because the Charleston is a perfect vehicle for a talented celeb (which Anita is). (Think Sophie Ellis Bextor.)

Another Anita fan here. She has such exuberance and vitality, putting everything into her routines and clearly loving the experience.

Re Gleb and the Charleston.......... there was a segment ( on ITT I think ) about Gleb and he was saying that Charleston was one of the dances he studied/learnt and really enjoyed. So I am thinking that in this instance, the choreography was his ( I know that the pros often get an expert in to help ).

I've always liked her on Country File, and so was amazed and delighted with how well she can dance. She came over very well on Who Do You Think You Are too. Good luck Anita, you're brilliant.

Glad to see this thread, I have loved their last two dances too, and really enjoying their partnership.

I loved the Charleston and high performance values, as others have said not quite sure who choreographed it yet as in the past other outside choreographers have choreographed most of the Charlestons on Strictly, but it was quite a different style. Good fun though, hope they go far!

I enjoyed the dance, but can appreciate why the likes of Len would want more basic Charleston in it. I have no problem with that, but this is choreography and has nothing to do with Anita - for her part she danced and performed well and I love her enthusiasm. Its good to see someone really enjoying it.

I think she's a great dancer.

I've only ever seen her present Four Rooms and I like her on that.

What you see with Anita is what you get - a very smart, hardworking, ambitious girl with a sense of fun, who's also very pretty and athletic!

She's presented so many different types of programme (Four Rooms, a SE Asia road trip series, and others I can't remember) and adapts her style to each, brilliantly. Not many people can do that. Darcy said there wasn't a dance she couldn't make her own, and I agree. She's one of the dancers I won't be fast forwarding!
