This is slightly surprising as I though this would have been held back for third week with it being the most interesting category.

They do seem to be dragging out the six chair challenge and yeah putting the girls on first is a danger, it's still a strong-ish year but I don't think any of the other categories alone are strong enough to pull in viewers like the girls will. However, with the rugby on Saturdays I guess they don't have a choice, although they could put a show on a Friday after the soaps, I remember they did that last year.

it could work the other way as well tho

put one of the weaker categories on the first week and people switch off and dont come back for the other categories

i'm dreading the groups round as they all seem very much style over substance and are vocally quite weak

It's all a matter of personal taste anyway. I will probably end up fast forwarding through a lot of tonight's performances because I don't like shouty singers/belters/power ballads or whatever you want to call it.

Jeref would hate me, I hardly ever like the girls.
