If you feel that strongly then I guess you should write a letter of complaint. Me? I take it in the spirit it's meant to be. But I guess everyone's different.

To don't think it's sexist at all. It's a bit of fun and non threatening. Women are use to these comments and don't bat an eyelid. I'd hardly think Gleb is a shrinking violet who is intimidated by them.

It was just when someone mentioned their husbands etc watching it occurred to me their kids might be as well! I'm not mega-outraged or anything, just kind of think it's a bit ott and a bit unfair on Gleb - we don't know how he takes it, if he minds or not.

It's not only objectifying the male dancers and Gleb in particular, it's also pretty insulting to Tess and Claudia to be portrayed near-constantly by the producers and scriptwriters as two sex-starved desperate females.

Strictly is increasingly OTT and pantomimey in its presentation of many aspects of the show, and this appears to be an unfortunate and unfunny offshoot of that overall cartoonishness.

I agree. Part of a professional dancer is the athetics. I've never seen a pro dancer that looks like the back end of a bus. If they do they hide it well with make up
