You know me, Connor. I'm nothing if not enthusiastic in my monitoring of LBC. I still have the odious berk that is Dale on my no-listen list after his school boy antics and arrogant display. It's a shame as I was a very big fan of his and he was one of my favourite presenters.

Ian Collins was an excellent listen last night - He is really putting in a lot of effort in promoting his show via all social media and getting listeners involved. I've been a big fan of his for some time and long may he continue.

I'm not keen on Darren Adam and tend to switch over to TalkSPORT at 1am for Porky Parry and Mike "Mike! Mike!" Graham. They are very amusing, perhaps too amusing for that time of the morning.

Haven't heard Steve saying silly things for several weeks but I would imagine he is still talking about towels and his socks endlessly. I wonder if the self-styled (and sadly disgraced) Dodgester (the world's most silly man) and John Borrington (the world's most boring man) will be in the studio on Christmas Day to join the ring master of Silliness?

Please don't do that, HHGTTG. You know you would miss us and I (for one) would miss your updates on what you are listening to on LBC whilst you are shaving.

Newsreader at 4.30 pm makes reference to Corbyn describing the death of OBL as a tragedy.....

NO HE DID NOT.

LBC - Please note
"Dave" - Please note.

While HHGTTG was shaving he used to say, Nick Ferrari was like aural wallpaper.

'This was an assassination attempt, and is yet another tragedy, upon a tragedy, upon a tragedy.’

So he did say it was a tragedy.

He said it was a tragedy that he wasn't brought to trial. I agree, it makes him a martyr.

1. "The Death of OBL is a tragedy".
2. "The lack of a trial is a tragedy"

It is impossible that any sane person could confuse these 2 positions.
Will I give Dave the benefit of the doubt?
No.

THE LBC newsroom has just said it again!

Well, actually he did but the remark is taken out of context. He meant it was a tragedy that he wasn't put on trial.

Sorry - politics

Oh, you beat me to it!

Oh, I'll come back and view from time to time but unsubscribing means I won't keep getting reminder emails in my inbox which lead, of course, to interminable boredom that is this thread.

Bye

He certainly was being a pompous oaf and completely up his own fundament but now that pig-gate is over things seem to have normalised.

He gets very defensive and a bit nasty when his integrity is challenged I've noticed. That tweet telling Louise Mensch to "f*** right off" was unnecessary. Why not just block her?

Despite that mild mannered demeanour I suspect there's a diva in there, and one who's quite capable of a strop.

The left bleating about a quote being taken out of context. Priceless

This from people who happily quote Margaret Thatchers's 'no such thing as society' ad infinitum.

So it was okay for you to listen to after he it assaulted a protester for no reason but, your not okay with him publishing that book. I'm sorry, I don't understand that reasoning.

It's a shame Iain Dale didn't get to do the interview with the PM.

I was prepared to give Ian the benefit of the doubt for the Brighton incident. He's been completely OTT, desperate and diva-esque about his money grabbing book.

If I wanted to consume food with a fat lard, I only have to head out to Greggs!

I can't stand either of them, but good on her for getting up that oik's nose.

There were pages and pages on part 30 of posts just about JOB and it is becoming a bit obsessive and dull now.

I know I post about old Fanny Allen quite a bit, but I do comment on others at LBC.

I don't think it is. He has used it on occasion but he certainly doesn't use it when talking to other politicians, and I'd be willing to bet that he won't use it when he is finally allowed to interview "Comrade Corbyn".

I don't think Corbyn has ever refused to be interviewed by Ferrari. In fact, Corbyn HAS said that he has no personal issue with Ferrari (yet!) and Ferrari has said that the possibility of a "Call Corbyn" programme is being discussed.

He has hardly grilled any of the Tories he's had on the show this week, but you can bet your bottom dollar that if Andy Burnham or "Comrade Corbyn" were to be a guest his manner of interviewing would be completely different.

Poster VQ has said of Iain Dale's nasty side on Twitter. I've seen some of his exchanges. On-air mostly he holds it together until he suddenly jumps out of his tightly held skin/demons by suddenly pronouncing to an ill-equipped caller, "rubbish"!

He was booked in for an interview with Ferrari during the Labour party conference but it was cancelled at the last minute. I haven't heard any mention of a Call Corbyn. The point of Call Clegg and Phone Boris is that they were/are in office and are putting themselves up to be held to account by callers about current policies and decisions. There's not much point in having Corbyn in for half an hour every week to tell us how the Government have got it wrong and he'd do it differently.

Are you sure? Nick Ferrari can be quite professional. Take comfort, conversely if J O'B interviews someone who doesn't agree with his quasi/questionable political beliefs, the person who opposes him, like Farage, is forever crucified on-air relentlessly almost on a daily basis afterwards. O'Brien is such a consummate professional in comparison, isn't he?

I haven't heard Duncan for a while, I love the Duncanisms like "Let's mop up the texts and emails before I finish tonight" and "I think we get the thrust of what your saying"
