He moved away from a local council estate for exactly the same reason!

Yet in the run-up to Christmas so many on here we claiming that JOB does not cut people off any more than usual! Seems his researchers know him better. .....

You might be talking about other subjects, but I wasn't commenting on your posts. 14 posts in 2 hours by ONE forum member about one presenter, building up to him accusing the presenter of being repetitive and obsessive! The irony!

Everyone is free to love or hate any or all of the LBC presenters, and I am free to comment on the posts made in this thread.

It was much more likely that the producers had warned the caller to stay away from certain legal topics to avoid being cut off. I very much doubt the producers are warning callers to beware of James' finger on the fader.

The real irony is your obsession with Mike Rackabit and my supposed obsession with Brian. I won't be goaded and will continue to post as often as I wish. #GoTeamBrian

Brian is repetitive. He is meant to be Leading Britain's Conversation, not simply posting on an LBC forum. You must understand the difference....

Excellent to have Mr Dale back on air this afternoon. Exceptional broadcaster and prime LBC.

Brian has just tweeted- Someone might actually have tried to kill Nigel Farage after all

Volvo have said that Farage's car wasn't part of the recall. it's all most odd.

Oh dear, maybe Brian got this one wrong? What are #TeamBrian's views on this backtracking?

Neither. Listen again should simply be free.

All those involved in the making of the programme have, presumably, been paid for their work when it was originally broadcast. There is no extra expense involved making the programme available on the listen again service. The fee is just to satisfy greed on Global's part.

Somebody has to go through the programme and edit out all the ads, the travel and news bulletins.

If you go to ITV Hub to watch their programmes again, you have to watch the ads whether you want to or not.

You don't have to subscribe to the LBC Podcasts.

Of course this is a service that was introduced before Global took over LBC.

I am not The Farridge's enemy but I certainly would like to hear more callers challenging his views rather than just buttering him up.

I am often saying that the current ownership and management run LBC badly and the way the calls are screened and selected is part of that.

Yes, I can tell the difference.

James presents a highly successful radio show that covers a wide range of topics and attracts a large audience, and he is also making regular appearances on TV due to many people recognising his talent to present political topics in an interesting and varied way.

You do not present a popular and successful program and do not present political topics in an interesting and varied way.

Best post of '16 so far, tremendous stuff! It may be more helpful to post about Brian, the radio hero, rather than Mike Rackabit if possible though.

He is leading Britains conversation!! He has a huge and loyal audience. He can be annoying and repetitive, maybe a tad pompous, and perhaps even a champagne socialist. But the public LOVE HIM!!!

Excellent work from Iain Dale in exposing Brian's utter hypocrisy and Victorian Catholic, sanctimonious claptrap re Simon D this afternoon. I get the feeling Mr Dale more than has the measure of childish and toys out the pram, silly Billy that is Brian!

Most of the public haven't a clue who he is. Unless they're ITV2 Daytime watchers who took their eyes off their pizza and chips momentarily at lunchtime last year, or nerdy lefty types who tune in to Newsnight and slaver over what they think is some sort of "man of the people".

As for his LBC audience... Tiny. Big fish in a very very small pond. I only know 2 people who even know what LBC is, one lives in Chiswick (ha ha) and the other is a radio buff.

Sorry but in the wider scheme of things James O'Brien, despite his best efforts, is a nobody.

This is the LBC discussion thread. I didn't realise anyone less than global film starlets and pop idols were considered failures here.

I guess the entire LBC presenting line up might as well pack up and go home if they are trying to please your unrealistic standards.

Those posters that claimed as much are mostly so politically obsessed - you've only got to read this forum today - J O'B can DO no wrong apparently.

Best not to speculate on the politics of other posters based on their views on a radio show.
