It's the sign of a good presenter when they can admit that their opinion was wrong about a subject, credit the caller(s) who pointed it out, and move onto a different conversation. Ferrari is one of those and as you say, he was very polite and jokey to the caller that pointed out the contradictions in his opinions this morning.
Nick isn't often wrong in my opinion but when he is, at least he has the courtesy to accept that he is wrong and apologise. There are too few people in society in general that are willing to accept when they are wrong and say sorry for that these days. I think being able to say that you were wrong about something is a sign of a good person.
