Absolutely nothing. Zilch. Nada!

However now that I know this forum allows this sort of thing I might start posting links to my eBay sales. They could do with a bit of extra publicity.

Happy Shopping!

Yeah ... I'll put money on they're replacing Petrie with Hoskins

I don't think any of the posts on page 399 are about LBC.

Something similar happened on Iain Dale's show yesterday.

Only in the fact they are regularly discussed on LBC.

But as i said earlier probably a better forum for that would be the LBC politics forum.

Exactly. Shelagh has just been discussing disabled people having sex. It's like if I was to react to that by posting videos of disabled people having sex, stats to do with disabled people and relationships, reports on the subject, and doing that on and on for a page.

The first hour of of Shelagh Fogarty show she asked for Emails,Tweets ect and never read a single one out. Considering the subject matter involved there must have been hundreds sent.

Well said Ken. James O'Brien's next programme will probably be on those who "peddle hate" ignoring what he often does himself.

Very powerful radio from Iain Dale speaking to the daughter of the 92 year old lady facing imminent return to South Africa. Hats off to Iain for getting personally involved and texting a minister to see if he could help in any way. First class radio from an exceptional presenter. If only more presenters actually did something when they could, rather than just sneer about the right wing press and "hate, hate, hate" eh?

That loud bang will be the sound of Ken hitting the nail firmly on the head.

He is wrong though, How many people are in the country with elderly parents abroad? thousands certainly, tens of thousands? possibly.

Regardless of what the daughter says the already collapsing NHS will end up looking after her.

At least Iain Dale went with his instincts and did what he could. Sounds like the family made a costly error with their incorrect procedure....

It would be a delicious irony if NA gets to announce the outcome of the EU negotiations, after 10pm. Can't wait to hear his spin on it.

Don't think anyone could call Ian Dale, Ian Collins or David Mellor a liberal fascist.

That's exactly the point though. Brian doesn't do anything, he's too busy trying to become a member of some Liberal Elite and sneering at the Daily Mail.

As long as he doesn't have to behave and do a grown up breaking news story ... he's not a fan of those.

Did we ever get any follow ups on job finding thing? I know it was a big JOB/LBC thing at the time but I don't recall any catchups.

He certainly did
Funnily enough I thought of that the other night when I happened across Jezza Kyles evening show on itv
He was touring various parts of the country looking at people on benefits and happened across a man who admitted claiming and working on the quiet but claimed he wanted a proper full time job
I must say I don't have much time for Jezza as a rule but he went out of his way to help this guy and got him a job
Sadly he packed it in just a fortnight after

Thats what I suspect happened with the guy JOB got a job and thats why its not mentioned. Pretty sure if it had been a long term success we would have heard.
