Just for the record I was thinking more Bernard Cribbins than Richard Fairbrass!
Love it !!
Funnily enough whenever I see YOUR name I think of a boomerang and Henry McGee
Thankfully unlike your namesake you seem a nice person as opposed to being almost universally detested as the other CD allegedly was ..

Well I could swear that a couple of days ago you said you weren't going to post on the LBC thread anymore.
Twice actually. ..

Nikki Bedi is a British television and radio presenter, born Nikki Moolgaoker in Aylesbury, England to an Indian father of Maharashtrian origin and an English mother on 9 September 1966.

Don't think Steve will lose any sleep on that appointment somehow
Pleasant enough on the odd occasion I've heard her and a safe pair of hands
She did a stint on LBC if I remember rightly

I wonder if BBC London have known about Paul Ross' move for a while ..... Nicki was doing a 10pm slot on the weekend until recently. Seems odd for her to leave, to come back not even two months later.

I don't think she has ever presented on LBC?

I'm not keen on most female presenters but she could be a huge improvement on Steve Allen. Then again almost anybody would be, Paul Ross is and I don't particularly like him.

Farage missed an opportunity this morning to put distance between himself and people with extreme views on race. A caller asked him was he concerned about the white genocide taking place in Europe and Farage mumbled and stumbled and then brought up Cologne.
Farage knows where a lot of his core support comes from so suppose he does not want to alienate them.
BTW The white genocide caller was from Northern Ireland, one of the whitest parts of Europe.
Yes I thought it a strange question using terms iike white genocide which is not the sort of language one tends to use Probably Nigel was a little discombobulated by it as I and many people would have been. I wondered why the question was asked.

You forgot Newsnight and Watchdog Mike ... So not THAT idle then but hey don't let that get in the way of one of your daily whinges
Don't forget that there was also O'Brien on ITV a while ago. Although as our solely missed ursine friend used to remind us James O'Brien was routed on it by the chavs of daytime ITV.

Henry McGee? Good god you'll be talking Queenie Watts next. That really is Steve Allen territory.

Paul, I don't wish to be rude or hurtful, but I'd like to redirect your very own words of wisdom back towards you. You could be accused of being a tad obsessed with Mike Rackabit yourself, and your repeated sniping at him is getting tiresome and unwieldy, to be frank.

Ironically, you come across (to me, at least) as the one doing all the goading, which I'm sure would never be your intention, and this thread gets clogged up with your ranty anti-Mike posts and attempts to put him to rights or silence him.

Why don't you just leave him be? Just ignore him and post about the many other things you're interested in. I can't understand why you keep doing it, and I've got a feeling you're just going to continue ad infinitum.

Lastly, on the issue of trolling, are/were you not a good and longstanding friend of the steveallenshow? I rarely endure him nowadays, but the few times I do listen, I'm horrified by the level of vitriol and hurtful comments he directs towards 'clebs' and their family members. How is that OK? And is this not an example of double standards?
You make some excellent points Franco_Anglais

Many thanks, Franco. The constant goading is rather tiresome.

Caller to Ken and David says he's fed up with the constant anti-EU rhetoric from LBC presenters and can only listen to them, NA and IC because of it.

Unlike other presenters, they say thank you, rather than cut him off for criticising their colleagues

Ken and David are essential listening. An inspired pairing.
