Did I hear this correctly this morning...he was talking about Amazon's legal action re false emails? He says his book has been given false reviews and may be the subject of court action. I was half asleep when I thought I heard that info.

The Sunday schedule is like a speech version of a Guantanamo Bay Torture Music Compilation Album.

Fanny's producer deserves a medal. Putting up with that tripe every morning and at the same time having to follow the befuddled ones stream of consciousness so that the Google results for whatever he's rambling about are available.

Then if Fanny takes a shine they're also required to go out for afternoon tea with him.

Yuk.”

He's complained to them about the bad reviews for his book but he's got completely the wrong end of the stick. Amazon don't give a stuff about trolls. What it's trying to stop are the misleading good reviews that have been placed by companies bigging up their products.

Steve didn't stop talking about his health this morning - he went on about his problem, on and off, for more than a hour or so. Whilst I'm sympathetic if he has either a tooth abscess or sinus infection, he laboriously eked out advice from texters.
"I've taken Ibuprofen I can't take Paracetamol as well can I?" "Oh I can try oil of cloves, what a good idea". Minutes later, "Oh I'll go to Boots on the way home to see the pharmacist" (thanks texter). "I can't take Tramadol that needs a private prescription". "I don't think I have a tooth abscess after all, more likely sinusitis, I'll go home and take some Manuka honey". "Oh I feel better now" (producer had handed him something). Texter's request "Can you please suffer in slience"............

Embarrassing, don't LBC management listen to the stations output. Time for Steve to be put out of his misery.

Boobs Turner awful this morning, it's time for LBC to look at bringing in a female presenter who is informed, sparky and knows how to broadcast. Hosken, Turner, Fogerty aren't fit for purpose. Utterly incompetent (or totally consumed by sky fairies and the NHS). Nowhere near good enough.

It's quite obviously a sinus infection. I guessed that immediately he said he's got a cold and a pain in his cheekbone. I've had it and it is painful. He needs anti-biotics.

Poor thing He always shares his ailments with his audience.

I heard his mention of the DS, SCD Spoiler thread & promptly turned off. Therefore, I didn't hear any of his hints.

He is not going to spoil my Sunday night, results show....... again !!!!! He & his followers seem to have a bee in their bonnet about these results

Boring LBC output, this morning. I enjoyed Petrie's programme, yesterday. Her hour on Tax credits was Illuminating......for me, anyway

Time to bring back Larry the lamb ......now that his new role on New tricks has folded....

Happy Sunday to all x

Fogerty is an accomplished journalist who lacks charisma, Turner does not claim to be a journalist, Hosken claims to be a cutting edge journalist but in reality is pretty thick and does little or no research for her topics. She also tells whopping pork pies when she feels the need - by far the worst of the three IMO. I also think she has something to hide hence her obsession for privacy

Turner's discussion on internships is one of the most boring hours of radio I have ever heard. This is beyond dire. Please LBC, make the necessary changes as soon as possible.

Yes just about coping. I still listen to Whaley. A serious news issue or item occasionally ,but mostly local radio rubbish. Still I like his personality and humour! Sorry only just spotted your post.

I heard on here...sometime back....that Petrie is the presenter who has received the most death threats !!!

Nick can do no wrong in my eyes. Still the best presenter on LBC by far.

It was a bloke from Weston-Super-Mare. Very strange call - I kept thinking the caller must have been having a laugh and making it all up, including weird pronunciations. I could tell that NA wasn't sure about any of it, either, but humoured the caller as it was entertaining.
This was followed by the Scottish religious nut.

It may have been with Clive. He always handles her well

Petrie is rather deluded. I don't believe a word she says.

Pesky's life or death week in Bosnia as a "war reporter" with "our boys and girls" qualifies her to spout forth with ultimate authority on absolutely everything.

Her paranoia that she is being watched by the government for some reason (God only knows why they would be watching her) doesn't stretch to immigrants and the unemployed. Yes, she who railed against the idea of the U.K. I.D card once suggested that those groups of people should be required to present identification in order to access health services and benefits. Apparently she doesn't mind other people being monitored then.

She also once told us that she used to enjoy a "pint and a cigar" at the pub with the rugby team. This repulsed me.

A change from his usual fascination with the morbid then. The other day he was harping on about slugs, how he hated them and their slimey trails and the various ways to kill them. He then concluded by saying how he'd like to be slowly eaten alive by them. wtf? The boy ain't right.

Very good.

That is well put.
I heard her Farage interview a couple of days ago and I thought she sounded....on form....more alive then usual. The questions were digging and I thought I detected respect from Farage that I do not always hear from him.

If she had an ice bucket challenge 5 minutes before air time I think she would be different altogether. It is frustrating. The patience and the thoughtful contemplation are just not quite right for this slot or for any slot.

Petrie is more informed on tax credits than Iain Dale - he was a total embarrassment when he attempted to cover the subject. i don't mind Petrie at all but then I might have become desensitized having listened to her for years. In the early days I had many a rant. But at least Petrie is capable of holding a listener's attention, I can't say the same for the other bland females on LBC.
