Mamma Mia musical

Hello

we are travelling over to see Mamma Mia the musical in london.

We have bought front row seats but wondered how bad the view might be as someone
told me the stage is that high that you might miss out on stuff going on?

I find that hard to believe. Thank you.

Try theatremonkey.com. It's like Trip Advisor for theatres, just with less blackmail to try to get free stuff.

Hi,

I booked front row seats to see Mamma Mia for myself and my daughter a few years ago.

The stage is quite high and you do get a great view of the cast members' feet (as they are mostly barefoot)!!

The stage is raked though, i.e. it slopes downwards towards the audience so you don't really miss anything. I think the only thing we didn't visually appreciate was the disco type lighting they cast onto the floor of the stage during dance routines.

I am quite tall (5' 7") and sat right behind the conductor and my knees were literally either side of his head!!!

Great show though, enjoy
