What age are the overs this year? I'm confused

It used to be over 25 but at least 3 girls are that age and over. No wonder Simon is fed up having that catergory. They seem to switch it if they think they have good ones at 25 but I think they should give that category a chance and take it from 25. There are plenty of teenagers to fill the girls category.

Wondering exactly the same thing. Can't work it out!

Well Kerrie Anne is 28 and is an over. So I'm guessing that it's over 28's this year

Whatever Cowell wants.

It's been upped (probably to Over 28's again - like in series seven).

There'll be some not-so-hidden agenda for it, such as there was in series seven with wanting Matt in the boys category... I'm not watching it this year though, so I can't say what the transparent agenda is.

It should be over 30 then it won't be confusing.

From what I understand, it's over 25s (26+). There was one girl who was 26 and in the Girls, so I'm presuming her birthday has passed since her audition.

Is Simon possibly going to sweep the rejected over 25 girls and boys into his category after a late change of decision to reduce the age limit again?

I'm happy with over 25s. There were some good girls at least who shouldn't have lost a chair if they had been in overs. Sharon Rose was amazing. What a voice.

Wouldn't be surprised.
