How do you like your steak?
Used this Degrees of steak doneness chart for the poll options.
My preference is medium rare. NOTE: If you don't eat steak for whatever reason, please ignore this thread/poll. It's not intended to be a meat eating debate. Last edited by JurassicMark : 04-10-2015 at 22:55. Reason: Added NOTE |

Usually medium rare. I find places tend to overcook it slightly, so I know if I ask for medium rare I'll get closer to what I call medium. Anymore than that and it starts veering into tough territory.

I like the cow walked gently past a radiator before being presented to me in steak form.
Meat is murder. Tasty, tasty murder. |

I don't like steak.
My dad used like it so rare he used to say, take its horns off, wipe it's arse and brand it. |

The rare side of medium rare. Ever since I got my sous vide I've been obsessed with getting the perfect steak.

Medium cooked however I'd prefer it medium rare than medium well. Steak, in my opinion is best with some pink left in if

Please forgive my vegan ignorance, but I had to Google "blue rare". It didn't look all that nice

Not intended to be a meat-eating debate?? What about those who don't eat it simply because they don't like it? That's not getting into animal rights debate or anything - it's personal taste.
The reason I'm objecting to "I don't like/eat steak" being left off is that in future years someone could raise this thread and say "But of course everyone eats steak - just read this thread!" ... well, maybe not, but I'm just a pernickety bugger. PS - I don't like steak. |

Medium well or Medium. How do people not get ill/food poisoning when they eat it rare?
