I was just wondering (and apologies if it's been addressed hundreds of times) while I realise obviously that the Sunday show is recorded, why Tess/Claudia insist on saying "on Saturday night" and "on Sunday night" rather than "last night"/"tomorrow night"? It seems to draw more attention to it for me. If I'm meeting somebody tomorrow night, I call it tomorrow night, I don't say "I'll see you on Tuesday" or whatever. And you never get the hosts of The One Show signing off on a Monday night by saying "We'll see you on Tuesday", they say "tomorrow night".
I know it's picky but it baffles me! Is there some weird legal thing that they're not allowed to say "last night"/"tomorrow night" when one show is live and one's recorded? Or is it with a view to overseas sales maybe (although if that were the case they could just cut sentences out)?
By the way, I don't want a big debate on the whys and wherefores of why the results show is recorded to begin with, I realise that has been done many times!
