From memory I had to trim a section to be <30 seconds in length, rename this to be a .mpr file-type and then place it in the iTunes "ringtones" section |

Use this
http://www.syncios.com/ Saves having to fart around using itunes, you open up a song you want as a ringtone, crop it to the bit you want, it will then convert and place it in the phone for you. |

Using itunes to make a ringtone is very very easy if you know how and you certainly dont need to be downloading any other programmes to do it.
Last time i did it i just googled it and followed the steps, it was so long ago ive forgot, but theres not many steps to it, and after i did one i didnt even need any instructions after that, very straight forward. Heres a guide http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/1...n_5901540.html Im guessing your problem was either not trimming the song down enough or not changing the file type to the correct one |

Flipping ITunes ! Taken me days to sort out and finally got it!
If I buy a ringtone why don't they put it in the right format ? I had to change it to a .m4r. Why don't they just send it in the right format in the first place? Choco |
