Poor old Gleb! He has to endure all those stupid embarrassing comments from Tess, Claudia and even Anita - but he must be more than just a pretty face, he's certainly got the best out of Anita, especially as she's not from a performing arts background - he must be a good teacher, surely? There seems to be an anti-Glab backlash, with lots of 'he's not even all that good-looking,' 'he's showboating,' 'it's all about him and not his partner' type comments flying back and forth. I feel the Beeb have set him up for it by force-feeding us all the 'isn't he hot!' stuff - yes, it' gets irritating pretty quickly - but let's just see how he and Anita do - surely he must deserve at least some of the credit for her progress? Anita is very popular here (I love her, she's in my top three, along with Jay and Katie) and she obviously has natural ability, as well as enthusiasm in spades. But she's also got to trust Gleb, and learn from him, and it's working, he's obviously able to channel her skills in the best possible way - can't we give him any credit for that? Or has Anita learned to dance all on her own?

I like him a lot and I have a feeling he and Anita are going to do very well. He's been quite lucky in getting Anita who is very popular with the BBC at the moment and seems to be popping up everywhere. Plus, she's a pretty good dancer too. Gleb himself seems very quiet but maybe his English isn't that great? Anyway, I find him very likeable and of course - easy on the eye too

I like him and I've enjoyed the dances he's choreographed so far. He seems nice and although he's quiet, I really don't think he's 'full of it' or whatever. I don't really get the backlash but I think people will warm up to him eventually. Hopefully anyway - I really like all three of the new pros.

I don't mind him. The quiet thing isn't an issue for me, but I do think it's unfair when he looks totally bored and uninterested around Anita. Even if it's not exciting for a pro, they should always make sure their celeb gets a great experience. Thankfully, I think Anita is naturally just an upbeat person, so it probably doesn't bother her too much.

Well, he is gorgeous, and it's early days yet but I've seen no reason to dislike him, and I am enjoying him and Anita together, so yes, I like him.

The first time he danced with Anita he was looking for the camera throughout and not so much at her ! It was quite noticeable and I felt it was a bit too much of ' get a look at me, I'm hot ' kind of thing. I think he's a bit vain, like all men who keep getting told how good looking they are ! He's a good dancer and I liked the cha - cha choreography. In terms of looks I think Tristan has the edge though.

I actually really like he is my favourite of the new pros love his and Anita's partnership. At the moment really hope him and Anita are in the final.

I like his dancing and he certainly looks hot but the constant knicker wetting at every opportunity by certain BBC employees is a tad tiresome. It gets in the way of his being seen as a fully rounded dancer.

I haven't warmed to him yet but there's no dislike. I like the way he dances and thus far I've enjoyed the dances he's performed with Anita, who is proving to be a natural in many ways. He seems quite a controlled character and perhaps, from what has been written elsewhere, he's being careful in how he participates in Strictly given his time on DWTS. My sense is that he doesn't like the comments about his looks; he doesn't seem as playful about them as Aljaz was, for example. But he bears them with grace and keeps any dislike under wraps, assuming my sense is accurate.

He doesn't do it for me as a bit of male perfection. But he seems alright. Its a bit early to say really.

I agree. I thought he was a bit conceited at the launch show but now I think that was just the fact he couldn't get a word in.... And may have felt uncomfortable with the females going on and on about his looks. Am sure he knows how he looks but it was cringey the way they carried on.

I think he has a great partnership with Anita and I have high hopes for them.

All that teen hormone guff from the presenters is as likely to turn people off him.

He's certainly very easy on my eyes I have to confess. However, I think they should leave the poor chap alone now and let him do what he does best ie dance.

He's not my type at all and so far he does seem a little vacant like when he stares off into the distance when they are being interviewed by Claudia after the dance but I'm putting that down to perhaps a language thing and not the fact there is a full length mirror just off camera and he has caught sight of himself
