I'm sad ola has gone, not many old pros left now, I think Anton will be ok this series but Brendan in mid table of scores may need help. Sexy man he is yum

The only reason to keep Brendan in is to torture him. Despite the fact he could be barely bothered with Sunetra last year, I'm not sure he - or we - deserve many more weeks of Kirsty.

I'm sad that Ola has gone too Geeny, I think that Anton will be more than ok this series, he always gives his all every year, he also has such a wide range of dancing skills to call upon and is very much liked by most people in the real world

To be fair, there is not much else he can do with Kirsty! It's a shame, you can see his heart is not in it.

His heart is never in it. His giant ego is though, every time.

Sorry Demi, I think he's very self absorbed.

I couldn't agree less.... I like Kirsty but IMO Brendan is not the right partner for her at all, she clearly is not a confident performer and needs the inner performer coaxing out of her, instead she has an ego-driven show-off gyrating over her. I was willing to give him another chance after his sulkiness last year but once again I feel he's blown it.

I really wish Kirsty was with Tristan and Jamelia had Brendan, I think that would have been a better deal all round and Brendan may actually have met his match!

I have no particular thoughts re Kirsty, she seems a bit aloof but that could be unease at being in a situation which is totally new to her.....

But agree wholeheartedly re Brendan - I was a huge fan, but my support dwindled last year, due to his attitude with Sunetra

Brendan with Jamelia would be a match made in heaven, or hell, but would have definately worked much better.

and Tristan with Kirsty, I think he could have helped her more

Brendan is a good dancer, Kirsty will get better, give her a chance

For a while Brends has been my least liked male pro. I couldnt bear to vote for him even when he was with one my favourite contestants (SEB). So, no, I wont keep him in with a really mediocre celeb.

All the male pro s are good dancers, including Anton. I think he is a good choreographer most times, his dancing is ok. Its his personality that annoys me.

Kirsty so far hasnt been that likeable. In fact I would say of this years lot only Jamelia is less likeable.

How does someone who presents so many TV shows happen to have no obvious personality other than looking rather stressed?

Most TV presenters these days have little or no personality - as long as they can read an autocue they're fine. That was Brucie's undoing really, he was an old school entertainer used to improvising.

since i have the bizarre experience of actually enjoying anton's dancing so far, brendan has taken over as the most annoying male pro for me. he was dreadful to the lovely sunetra last year, and looks like he's going to be largely indifferent to kirsty. she has a lot of challenges its true but i doubt brendan is going to be much help...

I think Kirsty's main problem seems to be nerves, and Brendan is so not a nervous person. I too was a fan but thought his attitude last year was terrible, Sunetra was actually very good but obviously he was miffed once he figured out she wouldn't win and lost interest.

We'll never know if Kirsty would have been better with another partner but I do think she would have had more fun with Tristan. I noticed on ITT yesterday when they showed everyone waiting to go on, Kirsty put her hands on Pasha's back... now a lot of them support each other and I'm probably reading far too much into it, but I thought it looked like she needed reassurance and support from someone and Brendan wasn't the right one to give that.

Brendan and Jamelia would have had great entertainment value I reckon - either he'd have got the best from her, or they'd have ended up wanting to kill each other!

I think Brendan has really dented the numbers of his fanbase since last year. I think his ego got in the way of his partnership with Sunetra, and he wanted someone younger and cooler, but forgot that his fanbase is more Sunetra's age/shape/attitude than the bright young things he craves.

I am far from a prude but I found the routine he did with Kirsty on Sarurday really crass and vulgar... Not to say desperate. It also made me more irritated by how he'd behaved with Sunetra who actually did have talent.

Glad it wasn't just me! I thought it was a sleazy routine and I didn't like it at all, and I say that as someone who rather fancies Kirsty. It felt wrong and was uncomfortable to watch IMO, I was glad when it was over and part of me actually hopes they get eliminated soon to save further awkwardness like that.

When the first round of couples were being saved at one point camera went on Kirsty and and looked quite shocked and worried almost in a incredulous manner that they were near the bottom. When she was saved right at the end she was not happy. She also said her routine was so perfect in rehearsal last week and she fell apart on the show. I have a feeling she is not as good as she thinks she is and she may have thought she is almost a nations sweetheart and people would have picked up phone to vote for her. She is beautiful but so far something not likeable.

Jamelia and Brendan would have been perfect, brilliant TV. I thought Pasha would have been a good partner for Kirsty, but agree Brendan isn't right for Kirsty.

Poor poor Kirsty, what an ordeal she is having to suffer.
