But they do seem to be an excellent mix of puffed up egos and unrealistic expectations..

I actually think the candidates are quite a fresh, unique mix this year. They're not the usual bag of cliches we've had in the past. And we've never had candidates like Sam, Dan, April, Selina, Aisha, Natalie and Gary to name but a few. Of course this is based solely on their videos.

I think Sam may be gay. Are they being PC now and including at least on LGBT participant each year?

I just saw the sneak preview for the first episode where Mergim tries to sell fish to veggie restaurant; I think he might be the Daniel of the series; claims to be a good sales person but is quite inarticulate and deluded about his strengths.My first impressions are always wrong though- I initially thought Chiles and Ella Jade were going to do well going by interview and previews in last years series.

Just watched it now - and fell abotu laughing. That is on a par with the trying to flog Cumberland sausages to a halal butcher...

none of them seem obvious winners

I watched the run down of them and all I can find is that they all obviously are designed to get my back up!
Can't see a likeable one yet, they must be a couple at least!

I see the new clutch of Sugar fodder have learned nothing already . Only a few had the nonce to NOT give quote that will come back to bite them at some point . Let's see ,
