It wasn't that bad, it's early days yet, but it wasn't as good as the judges made out. Although I was impressed by his ability to find the camera throughout his number...

To my eyes Peter & Jeanette's efforts are pretty standard for a middle-table couple at this stage of the contest.
The infuriating thing, though, is at least four of the other couples reached incredibly high standards for week two - more like early November standards - but Peter Perfect is somehow at the top of the table. |

The producers via the judges. Before it had even started they'd decided they wanted the 'youth attractor' kept in as long as possible. So the judges have been instructed to give him stupidly high marks to keep him at the top of the table and out of harm's way ( public vote ) They probably hadn't envisaged most of the other contestants being so much better than him and, therefore, making the fix so obvious. |

For week two parts of it were really bad, especially the trotting,
which shouldn't have been in the dance on any week

![]() ![]() ![]() I guess that's down his 26 years as a 'performer' - even though there are still some watching him trot, gallop and simper across the screen who are amazed by his ability to 'perform'. Odd that.

And mine. For a moment I thought I was watching Strictly Come Showjumping and someone had replaced Judy's Dalmations with a Welsh Cob.

Oh, I'm in no doubt of the answer to that;

Couldn't agree more. He's not terrible by any means, but he's not that great a dancer either. And the fault for that lies with Janette - she's either a poor choreographer or a poor teacher. Or both. I am a bit bemused by your idea that Peter Andre was drafted in to attract the 'youth' viewers from the XFactor. I do understand that he's probably got plenty of fans, but I'm not convinced that if I was looking for someone to pull in younger viewers I would choose someone like Peter Andre. |

With those limbs he could take out half the front row with a mistimed swivel. I hope the cameraman gets danger money.
hope he stays at least until Halloween week

I didn't think it was too bad actually.
![]() I do think that Darcey and Bruno were maybe a bit generous. |

If he had done it any faster it wouldn't have been on time with the music and that would be just silly. Nothing worse than trying to follow a lead who is dancing off time. Its like schizophrenia. Do you follow the guy or the music? In practice you are constantly flip flopping between following the leads and then the music and back to the leads. The whole experience is most unpleasant.

If that was the judging criterion, he'd get 4 x 10s every week.

I think a fair few people have said on here they thought it was odd, and I am sure Craig mentioned it too. To be fair if it was choreographed like that it is not his fault, Janette looked to be doing similar if I remember.

it was definitely quick (except the first part) but it didn't travel much, there were none of those long runs across the diagonal and too many on the spot foot sections that were largely obscured by janette's dress. the knees up bits were astonishing and one wonders how they could ever have come to happen....
overall it wasn't great, and it wasn't bad either. would like to see more content and more challenge as he's clearly reasonable able.
