Kirsty already danced to a movie hit, her salsa song Can't Touch it is from Sex and the city 2.

All That Jazz (Chicago)
Good Morning (Singin' in the Rain) Minnie the Moocher (Blues Brothers) St Elmo's Fire (eponymous) Sweet Transvestite (Rocky Horror. I'm reasonably confident this one will remain unmolested by Movie Week) |

I was reading these posts and so many times thought, oh I love that and that and that...great choices.
A few others I love are A View to a Kill (Duran Duran), Once Upon a Dream from Sleeping Beauty, and If I Were a Rich Man (Fiddler on the Roof). Just remembered Two Hearts from Buster. |

It's not a very popular song from the film, but Mondo Bongo from Mr & Mrs. Smith would make a good Rumba/Argentine Tango.

Colours of the Wind - Pocahontas
Accidently In Love - Shrek 2 Crazy For You - Vision Quest (Madonna) Beauty And The Beast - Beauty and the Beast Sweet Disposition - 500 Days Of Summer (Temper Trap) Not that I'd be admitting most of those if anyone asked me in real life but love all the tracks. |

"Colorblind" by Counting Crows, from Cruel Intentions, would (in my warped imagination) make a damn fine Rumba, if you can get past the tempo being a bit wandering, rendering it almost impossibly difficult - one for the pros (or Katie & Anton, of course
).

One of my favourite films themes is Suicide is Painless aka the Theme from M*A*S*H.
I am not sure what dance it would be paired with under the Strictly treatment though. A samba probably. ![]()

I totally hate Moon River because the lyrics are meaningless, and were apparently the fourth set of lyrics to choose from to a decent enough tune, made for Audrey Hepburn as someone who could not sing and smoked 50 cigarettes a day, and so was somewhat breathless.

![]() When I saw Titanic, I was chatting with my cousin during the intermission (long time since there's been one of those in the cinema). She asked if I was enjoying the film and I replied yes but it was a bit mad knowing what was going to happen already. 'Oh no! Don't tell me!' was the response. She is one of the most intelligent people I know and now works for Google. Her general knowledge just had a weak moment... |

![]() ![]() Brilliant. My mum tells a story about her younger days in 1950's London. I am not sure if she actually witnessed this or not though. Apparently there was a theatre production of the Anne Frank story at one of the theatres. Seemingly it wasn't very good or the person playing Anne Frank wasn't very good. Or perhaps her portrayal was very good at playing Anne's more irritating qualities and having read the book she wasn't all sweetness and light, although quite understandable in the circumstances. Anyway I digress. The story goes that the audience weren't liking the Anne character on this particular night. So when the Nazi's appeared on stage for the first time doing a house to house search. Someone in the auditorium yelled at the top of their voice "She's in the attic".
