Thanks for this.

Jamelia's dancing to Ann Widdecombe's Samba music!

Love Jay & Aliona's song - they will smash this out of the ball park.

I honestly don't think I'll be able to watch Daniel doing Summer Nights...

EDIT: didn't recognise Kellie & Kevin's song until I looked it up on youtube - and realised I loved this too! Am expecting big things for their Charleston.

I'm not looking forward to Daniel's cha cha.

Always wanted someone to do the Charleston to the Cantina band music.

I just long for them to stop dancing Charleston.

Don't get me wrong, it's a fab Charleston song, I'm just genuinely frightened thinking about what Kevin & Kellie will do with it!

I like it but to me, it doesn't have a rumba feel.

Brace yourselves people, get the ear defenders in. Sam Smith singing The Writing's on the Wall is bad enough...

Could Georgia go out with this song

I am literally desperate to see Aliona and Jays jive to that music. And I love Cantina band. Although my son is obsessed with a Lego Star Wars game that has it in the background so I hear it allllllllll the time

So Kellie's going to be dressed as Greedo then?

And Jamelia not even getting to dance to Independent Women - aka the song people actually associate with Charlie's Angels. Oof.

How many dances do Kirsty and Brendan have left now where her feet are allowed to leave the floor? Maybe Brendan will bust out an Argentine Tango if he's that desperate for her not to do any steps?

She'd be dancing to that over Jade Johnson's dead body.

(possibly quite literally)

Is two weeks between a song being released and used for a dance on Strictly a record? Got to be, hasn't it?

EDIT: And also, it strikes me, it's a song from a film that hasn't been released yet...

I don't think so at all; I'm not a rabid fan of her and Giovanni, but her Waltz (while not a very good Waltz) showed a lot of skills that'll be good for the Rumba - clean lines, switching rapidly between slow and fast movements, soft and sharp, and she doesn't need heel leads in the Rumba.

Should actually be quite good.

Is it wrong to say that I am literally desperate to see any of Aliona and Jays dances

Oh dear, so Gleb is going to be shirtless and Anita will just wear a man's white shirt ?
There are quite a few choices where I am worried about the theme and/or the costumes. Katie as a hooker ? Kellie as a stormtrooper ?

Other than that, I stand corrected on my Frozen prediction, but I despair to see that, once again, they managed to shoehorn a Bond film in, albeit one that hasn't even been released.

Unchained melody should have been used for a Vienesse waltz.

It'll most likely be a Viennese Waltz-based American Smooth.

(and speaking of American Smooths, I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them ends up being another dance by the end of the week again)
