Gary didn't get that edit I was hoping for, which means he should be a goner, but then I thought the rest of them made more errors than he did? Also, funny that LAS pressed him to choose who to bring back, and then he was all 'don't want to override your decision.... but all of you are coming back'

I get this overwhelming sense that both Charleine and Selina are being set up as the ultimate cannon fodder in the interviews. I think both of them might just last that long, but I hope not, both of them are far too grating to be worth the 10 glorious minutes we see the interviewers rip them apart for.

If Scott does get fired, only one out of (probably) Gary and Selina will get fired and the other one survives.

Surprised that they showed most of the intro clips in the preview, especially the cafe scene and the outside of the boardroom shot.

Only thing I don't get is the clips of Charleine crying, clearly not from next week so from week 10? Or edited out from a previous week??

EDIT: In regard to finger pointing, didn't see the boardroom positions that quickly, he could also be firing Scott with that finger (their team is sitting there in the first boardroom).

Charleine crying from either next week or week ten, she was in a final boardroom crying, and was defo not crying tonight.

Part the first: I knew I was going to get muddled up with the male candidates! Tbf the initial clip was completely from the back of Richard and it looked like it was more shaved there (I initially thought it was Scott), I thought Brett had some hair at least! Still, at least I was halfway right that he's got that far

Part the second: we still have that clip of Charleine going 'I'm doing the talking!...' in the café, now it could be from next week, in which case - was she facing straight ahead? If so then that would have to be Gary she was shouting at (Selina's to the left and Joseph to the right). The crying clip I thought was from outside the BR, it looked as though she dried her tears and then was walking a little, but she was definitely on her own there. Now that could potentially be from next week (as it looks as though she's safe, not in the final 3 BR) when she's about to go back to the house - or it could be from week 10, in which case it may well be that this is just after she's fired (it could be one of those where the fired candidate is just leaving the BR, or it's after the others have gone back to the house and just before the taxi exit is shown - if it's week 10 then the only explanation I can think of for it would be her firing).

The finger point - previous intro clips have shown that PM Joseph brings Selina and Gary back (there's 2 clips - one with Selina and Joseph, another with Gary where you can just see Joseph's grey jacket in the seat in front of the door), with the order going Selina/Joseph/Gary from the clips: strange that the other team weren't shown in the BR, which does suggest that this may be Scott being sent home, just going on the premise that if it isn't, then it would be in Selina's direction.

To be fair, Richard seems to have changed his hairstyle a bit in the last few weeks (and have seen people confusing Richard and Brett before). Mind you, Scott was the last person I thought it could be Taking into account build and skin colour.

And from the preview clip (of Scott and Brett) it seems that I also called it early on in the series about that task being the real estate one (based on the Galliard?? Lifestyle sign at the back of the clip). Rather proud of that one, as most of the times I interpret the clips wrong.


The intro indicates that it is towards Selina, but that might be classic misdirection. However, would she yell like that to either of the men? She seems to butter them up (or at least Joseph this ep, planting the seeds for David's firing).



There are two crying clips from her, one outside the boardroom and one inside the boardroom (last one is probably final boardroom or at the very least a second boardroom).

This is where the changing of clothes (between the boardrooms) is crucial, as she is wearing a pinkish blouse in the crying scene outside the boardroom (and is wearing a bright green one next week in the first boardroom).

Think that the shocked reaction from team Joseph is probably Scott's firing (which happens probably before the results are announced?).

And I wonder why Richard is gasping towards Brett like that when they walk out of that boardroom (only because he was their PM??).

At least we got confirmation on most of the important intro clips for next week, which leaves us with very little to go on for week 10 (Charleine's crying clips?, probably Richard's clip outside of a building and a Vana boardroom clip).

Did we not see a clip at the end of last weeks episode showing tonight's client getting taken to hospital ? I was waiting for Lord Sugar to inform the losers tonight that the client had indeed been taken to hospital....could it be that he fires someone next week based on this weeks task....I know what I mean

1st bit: Yeah when I first saw that particular intro clip (the Vana hug), it was like a split-second, so I did first think it was Scott. Also, I've just realised that I'm a complete idiot as I had to look up 'Galliard Homes' last year for the internship that I was doing *facepalm*

2nd bit: I would have thought Selina, but then that might just be her reaction to Charleine having a go - I think Selina's top matches the BR shots from next week (sort of pale and sheer, think she's worn it once before) and Charleine had the green blouse on? I'll have to go back and check but if so, looks like that has to be ep 9.

3rd bit: see ^ for change of clothes. Agree that reaction from Team Joseph seems to be towards Scott's firing - either before results are announced, or just after (so other team wins but Scott's fired before they leave the BR). If Brett is PM then I'm right about something else as I said that could have been the case from the clip of him walking out behind the other two (PM is usually one of the last people to leave the BR).

Richard outside clip could potentially be from this week (if a property has a balcony maybe?), otherwise, seems to indicate that he's in a sub-team on his own for week 10.

scott needs to go next week, whether or not he is on the winning team. anybody that says "the windows let the sun in all day and all night" deserves to be fired on the spot.

Seems like we will be in for another surprise. Note that the number of (remaining) candidates is not mentioned.

Will probably have to wait until next Wednesday to learn the teams and PM's (my guess for PM's would be Vana vs. Charleine).

8 candidates left 4 episodes to go, so there's one more double firing before the Interviews, judging by the tweets may be Selina as part of a double firing or she gets to the Interviews.

The BBC preview says there are eight remaining candidates in Task 10, which if correct, means no one is fired in Task 9. Assuming that's wrong, Gary and Scott are most likely to go next.

I wonder if Joseph will start unraveling in the upcoming property task. I suspect his business plan is property related and losing such a task when he's PM, esp. when he's also supposed to be a great salesman, will hardly impress LS.

I saw in the intro Gary in a final BR with what looked like Joseph's suit to his right; plus Joesph seems to like Charleine so it seems fair to say that the final BR is Joseph, Selina and Gary. Selina could go but I think Gary's the most likely firing.

Also looks like Scott gets fired in the Results BR as we see Richard, Brett and Vana in the BR lobby looking shocked with Scott nowhere in sight.

My bet is on a Scott and Gary firing next week with Versatile to lose again in Week 10 for Charleine's crying clip (Plus Charleine is almost certainly PM that week).

This episode (and others) has made me think that we're heading for a Richard and Joseph final; though Joseph seems to be the classic front runner that falls at interviews (Like Helen, Nick, Neil and Roisin) which has given me pause. Definitely think Richard will be there though.


Here's a potentially left-field thought:

I heard someone mention that the Week 10 boardroom could be a double firing of Charleine and Selina in a gruesome boardroom. What if (assuming a double firing of Scott and Gary next week) the shock of Week 10 is a double of Selina and Charleine leaving 4 for interviews? It seems unlikely but I could see it...

Unlikely, as The Final Five airs in week 10.

Charleine seems to be portrayed as the arch villainess and her rivalry with Richard could be the producers' idea of a dream final.

Having just read the BBC preview for next week, my guess is now that Charleine gets emotional in the boardroom and that perhaps both of her crying clips are from next week (instead of week 10). Can't think of anyone else who this would refer to.

Doesn't mean that I predict her to be fired.

Scott is a strange one, would assume that if he gets fired that it will be early in the first boardroom (as he is gone when they step out of the boardroom).


Think only one of them will be in the final. Personally, I don't think that Joseph is the main frontrunner as others were before him. The other finalist will be between Brett and Vana.

If the final boardroom next week is indeed as shown in the intro then I will predict that Selina will be fired (and if Scott goes before her, You're Fired will still have a candidate there). They usually don't show the fired candidate last in the preview trailer and the last shot was of Gary.

The shock in week 10 might be that the "wrong" team loses (the one without Gary/Selina) and for instance Vana or Richard gets fired (one of them will be the PM on that task).

Yeah, I'm trying to come up with scenarios that still have Scott progressing but tbh after seeing him pretty much lose the plot the last time he made the final BR it wouldn't surprise me if he had a similar enough meltdown and doesn't even make it to the result


It's funny if Vana wasn't so skinny in the betting I would have her well behind Richard and Joseph in the race for final 2. I've barely noticed her in recent weeks, I see nothing overly special about her yet. I imagine we'll see a lot more of her in the next two weeks though, where she'll surely be a PM in one of them

Joseph is a cert for final 2 imo, but richard is growing and growing, I think he's going to sneak in. I really hope it's them two


If LS is being consistent he'll sack Selina. Gave her pretty much the same ultimatum as April, Natalie and david when she last made the final BR (although I don't think he spelt it out as clear to David iirc).

Unless Gary actually stands out though, it's hard to see how he'd survive a firing. Unless he gets rid of 3 and the 'shock' in week 10 is no firing . extremely unlikely though!


I wonder is the 'shock' a bit of hyperbole, or maybe it is to do with the actual "result" not the "firing". maybe the winner on paper doesn't win the task? it'll be interesting

When selling million pound flats, there must be scope for buyers to get cold feet and cancel the deal.

Haven't seen next week's preview but... We know Joseph brings Selina in from the Final BR shot in the preview (Plus; "You're such a manipulator" seems likely to lead to a BR appearance) and there's a shot of Gary in the final BR with Joseph to his right. It wasn't this week as Charleine was on his right and its unlikely to be from Week 10 unless Joseph is PM again and loses again (Or if Gary is PM again). So it's likely from next week and it would mean he's the third BR candidate. It's definitely not from a previous week either as the only time Joseph had previously lost was Handyman week where he and Gary were on separate teams.


It is a strange one but the fact that there are now TWO separate clips of Richard, Vana and Brett on their own in the BR lobby looking shocked with Scott nowhere in sight certainly gives more weight to the theory.

Yeah it wouldn't surprise me and I have thought for a while that Selina would go with someone; not because production planned it (which would have been of course impossible) just because it's easier to declare you won't appear on YF if someone else was fired that week.


Assuming I'm right about next week's Final BR, Week 10 HAS to be the Charleine crying clip; it can't come from anywhere else, which means that Versatile would lose again. Still think it's kinda likely just because Charleine would be the PM on that task and it'd be her first time in the firing line (excepting this week where I doubt LS would have fired her; just think he wanted to give her a warning for being so presumptuous.)

You are right about the final 3 BR for task 9 - order of chairs goes Selina/Joseph/Gary (Joseph's left arm can just be seen in the clip involving Gary). As I said above - if the Charleine crying outside BR (the walking clip) is from task 10, I think that suggests she's fired on that task.

Before that second clip of Richard/Vana/Brett outside by the seating area, I was happy with the idea that Scott had survived and just couldn't be seen behind the door in the previous clip - after that though, he has to have already gone otherwise you definitely either would have seen him or the others would be looking towards him out of shot.

That's next week, the "shock" result is apparently for week 10, which is the selling produce to supermarkets like last year. It confuses me sometimes with previews released so early!

I can't see the "shock" being in relation to the firing the more I think about it. We've already had the PM sacked before final BR, next week it's looking like Scott may be fired before the result, we've had double- even triple- eliminations, and so on..

So I think it is to do with the actual "result" of the task. AFAIR the retailers contact Karren and Claude after the teams do their pitches, so no-one has any idea who wins until the boardroom as that is when the orders are announced.

Maybe the shock is to do with someone pulling a Mark from last year and still getting orders, while the opposition may look like they nailed it from the edit yet end up losing. I'm not going to overly read into it though, as from last year he just eliminated Sanjay and the Geordie lady pretty much based on their Business Plans and nothing to do with the actual task. I'd say the same will happen this year

Richard, Vana and Joseph look nailed on certainties for the interviews, while he definitely sees something in Brett. That leaves one, which surely more than likely will be Charlene

I am avoiding this thread this year, but could someone tell me who is PM for Team Richard, Scott, Brett and Vana?

Since the RT review didn't even hint at Scott's shock firing from the winning team in the upcoming Task 9, I'm now inclined to take their "shock exit" comment for Task 10 with a pinch of salt. It's a pretty generic term that could just about apply to anyone who's favourite gets booted out IMO. *yawn*

Most likely Brett IMO as he's in the property/construction business, likewise Joseph who's PM on the other team.

I thought him maybe. He seems to have a managerial stance in the preview clip online.
